This is a vanity for a SCARY (to me anyway) new "service." Try typing in your real name and choose your home state and see what pops up. Then try the names of loved ones or folks you know. You can do all states or just one.
Whatdaya.... some kinda wise guy? Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck
It's not quite so funny when you consider I have had three sitting in jail for armed robbery and a couple on parole for attempted murder. Those just the ones I know about and I found out by accident. How would you like to have some convicted felons mad at you and knowing all the small details of your life...available at the click of a button? Most of the punks wouldn't set foot in a courthouse to look up records. But gather it anonymously over the web? You bet. Teaching as deep into the inner city as I do has always contained an element of risk and that's okay. I've been at this for 17 years and never been hurt yet...although I know teachers that have been badly injured by their kids. I've only got a few more years until I can retire.
I read all that while I was there. That wont get your info off the site. TorF dot com has an process to go the zaba and follow a series of clicks to get your info removed. when I did it,the last click to remove your info was gone. So you could not take the info off. all that text is saying is for future info.
Ping
hope it helps
There is a procedure for removing or correcting your information, but it's difficult to find. You need to go to the site, click the "Terms" link at the bottom of the page then go toward the bottom of that window where there is a "ZABATools" link. They also have a page on their site that gives hints of how to reduce the amount of personal information that becomes available through public sources.
Just when I thought the cops couldn't find me!
Nothing so far on my address, only someone calling me a girl dog. I did ask google and a few other online directories to drop my name after getting nasty mail to my home.
