Angry doesn't mean stupid. Unless your talking about liberals;)
I can't wait to vote in 21 days.
The old media and the dems are so desperate to win, they have way overplayed their hand.
If they had any engaged voters air america ratings would be through the roof, yet they declare bankruptcy, the nyt ad revenues should be in the stratosphere, yet those ad revenues are tanking.

Your thanks are appreciated, but undeserved. I've only penned the anger felt by many, and that only here on FR. I tried to express this anger with my two extremely liberal CA senators (Boxer and Feinstein) but one ignored my emails, and the other basically responded by berating me for having my opinion (her's being the only one that matters). I so much would like to debate these idiots face to face and in public. I'd like for them to explain to their constituents just why it is they don't want this country to be successful in this war.

I somewhat agree. Still, I'd like someone from the GOP to step forward and admit they've not done the job promised in the Contract With America.
Whatever happened to that?

"The Democrats must be reading Free Republic, Liberty Post, and other sites where the Donner Party "conservatives" are hoping for a GOP annihilation in November"
I suspect that some of the "true conservative" Donner party types are just trolls anyway. They fall out of the woodwork like roaches anytime there is something they can bash Republicans about.
Once the story cools down they disappear like roaches when you shine a light on them.

The game seems to be to paint the Democrats as the obvious victors, and then say, "The Republicans must have used dirty tricks" when the polls are proven wrong.

Thank you. Your nephew has my undying gratitude for his service. FYI, my brother's only son is also in Iraq, as is my sister's husband's niece. My sister's youngest son served one tour in Baghdad during 04/05, and appears to be scheduled for a second tour next June. My oldest son is planning on enlisting in the Army once a minor medical issue is resolved. This is a family thing for us, going all the way back to the Revolutionary War.

Hi Freepers,
I'm a troll from DUh. While there is nothing of substance we agree on, I admire your commitment to truly conservative values. I encourage you knuckle draggers to stand by your principles and either vote libertarian or just not vote.
Sincerely
To: everyone
Good piece. Send to your discouraged GOP friends.

I smell fear in the air and I'm thinking the GOP is going to wipe the floor with the dems in a couple of weeks. Then I wonder what the MSM will try to spin? On November 8th,the dems, with the help of the old media, will put out the same spin they always do.
"we didn't get our message out",because they have none,"Republicans disenfranchised voters",yet the voting problems always come from dem run precincts.

In order for conservative voters to defect, or even stay home, they must believe that Democrats would do it all better! Exactly. I hope the conservatives remember 1992, when they stayed home or (ugh) voted for Ross Perot. We got eight years of Impeached 42, the Oval Office sink stainer, who is as much to blame for 9/11 as ANYONE.

Pretty sad shape the DEMS are in if they need disgruntled GOP voters to stay home or else the DEM party collapses

It's not me. The values come from our parents and grandparents, all of whom served, and whose parents and grandparents served in one or another branch of the Armed Forces, all the way back to the first ancestor to come to this country in the late 1500's early 1600s. This nation is our home, and "THIS WE'LL DEFEND".
Thanks for your kind comments.

I understand that completely and would have been thrilled to see the GOP run a strong candidate against him in the primary. My disappointment is that so many people seem to think the primary is unimportant and stay home. It is every bit as important as the general election and the place we need to make changes. After that it is nose-holding time.
Basically the general means if you want gun control -- vote dem, want abortions -- vote dem, want tax increases -- vote dem, want soft, bleeding heart judges -- vote dem, want to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan -- vote dem, want the next two years to be one long assault on George Bush -- vote dem, want unfettered illegal immigration -- vote dem...
The congress has been getting a bad rap, but most of our GOP Congressmen have been far better than the senate...

I won't be going to the Polls this year.
For the first time since turning 18, I will vote by absentee ballot as I won't be in my home town on election day. I have never failed to vote in any election since 1978, and I wouldn't consider missing a vote now. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.

Oh I agree. Probably 50% of the Donner Party "conservatives" are really trolls but not all.
The old Buchanan Brigades have been working to destroy the GOP since 1996 and now some of the Tancredoites are doing the same.
