The liberal democrat media trying to suppress the GOP vote thread, 10/17/06
Various liberal mainstream media

Just thought I would start a daily thread of links to articles posted on FR as a clearinghouse showing the dinosaur medias attempt to shape this election and suppress GOP/conservative turnout. They are pulling out all the stops, for the dinosaur media knows if they lose this election, it's a steep downhill for them from there.
I'll start of with a couple of threads.
Disconnect with GOP finds it way to Texas(AP finds a democrat who calls himself a Republican)
GOP fears Ohio democrats' strength a nationwide omen(unnamed sources of course)
TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 2006; 2006election; elections

Feel free to post any threads on this daily thread. The dinosaur media is going to get worse in the next three weeks and this thread will give Freepers a chance to blow the snarky and lying liberal dinosaur media out of the water.

This is the worse that I remember the lamestream media carrrying the DNC's water and spouting their propaganda as "news" since...well, the last election. It happens every single election cycle. The difference is that until the 1990s, they had a virtual monopoly on public news and information.

I'm beginning to wonder if all these stories are designed not only to suppress the GOP vote, but to also cry "voter fraud" if the GOP wins and wins big. I keep reading some posts from FReepers mentioning these Diebold machines. Perhaps the DemocRATs are setting us up to cry "vote fraud" with these machines in an effort to try and make all GOP victories suspect.

Come on, Dane, what's going on? You've been sounding like a reasonable conservative the last few days, instead of the rabid pro-illegal bomb thrower we all know and love. Did they change your meds?

They'll commit voter fraud, and they'll accuse of voter fraud, whatever seems right to them given the situation.

Most unbelievable MSM Bias Headline of the day:
McCaskill bests Talent in fund race
For the first time in her race for the U.S. Senate, Democrat Claire McCaskill has outraised her opponent, incumbent Republican Jim Talent, in a quarterly report.
McCaskill, the state auditor, raised about $2.6 million between July 1 and Sept. 30, compared with Talents nearly $2 million.
But Talent has outraised McCaskill significantly since the race began. Talents take is about $12.6 million to McCaskills $7 million.
After expenses, Talent reported that he had $4.2 million on hand Sept. 30, while McCaskill said she had $246,000.
A spokeswoman for the Democrat said McCaskill had already spent her money on television advertising time for the final weeks of the race.
The race is nearing the states record for a Senate race, which came in 2002 when Talent and Democrat Jean Carnahan spent about $20.5 million combined.

I've noticed, in addition, a number of stories aimed at breaking Christians off from the party by labeling the Republicans the "Party Of Foley" despite the fact that the guy's resigned. the dinosaur media has also trotted out this David Kuo, who got a book deal from Simon & Schuster.
The threads on FR about his shennigans trying to suppress GOP/Conservative voter turnout is at the below link.

It's all a book selling and ratings game. The more Republican losing theories out there the more they can pump their ratings and in turn pimp a book. The MSM already has their talking points with whatever the outcome happens, it's just a matter of which file they pull out.

I just find this so funny. People are now voting in some co. in Ohio. Records indicate that GOP are voting in massive numbers over Democrat in early voting.
The polls are all wrong because the polling groups are giving democrat a edge from 5 to 13% and will not happened. Look for polling in the next 2 weeks. They may never correct the bias in Dem's vs Rep.
Guys stay out of the media bubble and let the media bring the republicans on the fence to the polls on election day. They bring home voters.
Why did the democrats put this Foley mess out so soon, because they were losing ground to the President & Company. We need to work on get religious voters, Democrat, Republican and Independents that go to church every week to the polls.
In my state of Maryland we are never ahead in the polls but we have won. Its because candidate's do not criticize other Republicans and fights as one. A liberal Republican is better than a corrupted Democrat in this commie state. I will tell you that we will pick up seat in the House and Senate. Yes, we will lose a few but we will win more that you know! The Catholic church in Maryland registered 7,500 new voters. Party switches from Democrat to Republican were about 3,500 voters. These were just turn in to County seats and are not reflexed in party identification numbers. The Republican lost Gov Ellen Sourbreas(sp?) by 5,400 Votes in 1998. We are moving for ward. Soon The Democrats will lose this state in 10 years because they are killing their own voters with abortion. Think positive and avoid the Media!
