Clintonoids trying to get Curt Weldon
The FBI gets a lot of tips on politicians. But it doesnt act on all of them in a great blaze of publicity, just a few weeks before elections. And not many of them are specifically tipped by the Soros outfit CREW.
Well, Curt Weldon and his daughter are getting the full CREW treatment.
Weldon happens to be one of the few high-level members of Congressional Intelligence Committees to insist on reform in the intelligence bureaucracy, to expose the Clinton Follies in national security, and to play a consistently positive role in limiting post-Soviet proliferation of nukes and scientists.
The Clintonistas have it in for Curt Weldon; which means that the most incompetent collection of foreign policy flunkeys just want to continue their coverups. If you want a good guess at the reason for the high-profile FBI raids, consider the follow quote from Weldons excellent book, Countdown to Terror, on the Clinton years.
The gross incompetence in the intelligence community over the last decade, combined with the current rebellion of intelligence community leaders, especially at the CIA, justifies a dismissal of present leaders in all agencies and across the entire intelligence community. The straightforward solution would be to fire everybody above the level of GS-15.
Americans with their heads on straight should support Curt Weldon.

Update:
Apparently, Weldon is telling the truth, however, when he says CREWs Sloan filed the complaintdetails here.

no... our 'friends',the MSM and fauxNEWS refuse to investigate...
J. Edgar Hoover may have worn a dress , but he didnt pull crap like this. This is blatant. Politics doesnt belong in the Justice Department.
I'm starting to wonder what's gong on here.
That being said, I don't like what he has done to help his daughter and he should face the music for it.

It tells me just how much of our Federal Government is in on the Able Danger coverup, perhaps to the very top.
Even Michael Savage has left it alone recently.
no, because we have an administration that refuses to use executive power at the DOJ for anything that might be seen as "political".
in the meantime, the president who left office in 2000 - is still able to use his power in the form of career moles at these agencies, to pursue his agenda. its unreal.
Sometimes I wonder. Right now, democrats are getting busted in all kinds of dirty deals, but no one seems to care. What's up with that?
Forty + years of overt liberalism, bordering on outright communism, shaping the federal government's growth and destiny and you're just starting to wonder what's going on? The scourge of the twentieth century is alive and well in our own country, my FRiend; when instruments of the federal government are used to intimidate, harrass, and silence the opposition, we have become that which we most abhorred: a nation of socialist slaves.
Witness the destruction of the greatest political experiment ever known to humankind - the decline may have started slowly, but the eventual downfall will snowball rapidly...
Reid has 4 sons who are lobbyists. Their job is to lobby him! Talk about conflict of interest.
If polotics is in the Justice Dept. then it should be balanced
Able danger was screwing around and plugged in a few Chinese names. They intercepted a bundle! The Clinton administration was in power then, so it must have been devastating stuff. It must have been so bad, even our Republican government doesn't want the American people to know what Clinton was up to.
just as an example - look at the Jeanine Pirro issue. Not that this race matters much - a state AG race in a heavily Dem state. But just think that the US attorney there is investigating whether she is trying to determine whether her husband is having an affair - he has time to investigate that, and leak it to the media 30 days before the elction. Was that US attorney fired?
The buck stops at the Attorney General's desk. If Alberto Gonzales doesn't approve the FBI raid, none of this happens regardless of the Democrat-CAIR input. You don't raid a Congressman's relative's office and put an election in jeopardy without going to the top man at the Justice Department.
The Republicans, even solid conservative Republicans, can never be an effective majority in the government because they can control only some of the highest positions in some of the bureaus and departments. If the conservatives come in in a flood they can change the way things are done for a time but the permanent government, the entrenched statists, eventually capture the appointees and the ship of state that was wrenched onto a new course by the incoming conservatives, is pulled inexorably back to the statist track. Ronald Reagan beat this system in foreign policy by simply ignoring and bypassing the CIA and the State Department. Very few presidents will have that clear a vision and the strength to act on it.
