Here's an authentic 11/7/06 lunch recipe for the dems, their trolls and the media :Summer Crow Kabobs
Ingredients
16 pieces of crow breast meat (no bones) (8 crows)
16 pieces of green pepper
16 cherry tomatoes
8 button mushrooms
8 ears of sweet corn
1 1/2 cups of Teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup melted butter
8 kabob skewers
Preparation
Cut each piece of crow in half and place in a covered bowl with the Teriyaki sauce over night. Clean and cut each ear of corn into 3 pieces. Cook in boiling salt water for 10 minutes. Alternately put corn (3 pieces), green peppers (3 pieces) and cherry tomatoes (3) along with 4 pieces of crow meat on each skewer. Use 1 mushroom to top each skewer. Brush with melted butter and place on preheated grill for about 4 minutes. Flip, butter again and place back on grill for another 4 minutes. Repeat one last time for a total of 12 minutes or until they appear done. Serves four adults.

You are absolutely right carlo. These morons who want to teach the Republicans a lesson are all wrong.
They are the same group as Perot's volunteers, and a bigger group of idiots has never been assembled. They sure taught everyone a lesson who is not brain dead. 8 years the country suffered under clinton because of them and hillary would never have had presidential ideas without that same 8 years so now we have her to contend with.
I suspected Perot was a closet clinton supporter and that is exactly what he turned out to be. Hey VOLUNTEERS, you were DUPED, Perot never wanted to be president he was on clintons team and YOU were stupid enough to fall for his lies.
In case you hadn't noticed I am STILL mad about that. My *former* (yea!) brother in law who considered himself the smartest person in the room (any room) fell for Perots bullsh*t and that is only ONE of the reasons I detest him.

Nice rant er brain fart there dude... I am voting straight R's as well but I do have issues with the republicans on immigration and spending.
I just don't hurl insults but discuss issues objectively and don't rant like a 5 year old and act like a liberal as yourself.

I don't know about you, but I have had it up to and including my A$$ with all the whining that is going on around here about what the Republicans have or have not done to deserve your vote this November.. I know for sure that if we had the Democrats in power the past 10 years it would be a hell of a lot worse, with or without President Bush..************
Hear hear! I'm with you.

Man, some people get really upset when you don't vote the way they want you to.
I shall eat whatever I wish, to a point, and vote the same way.

Hey, I just added a link to Cooking with Carlo on my blog (orthoopinions.blogger.com)!
I figured even though only search-engine spiders seem to read my blog, I could do another broken-glass Republican a good turn, since inlinks from anywhere help with page rank. (I liked your site, and the only other food link I had was the omni-useful epicurious.com.)

Great Post. I am so tired of reading all these troll posts of late. These trolls have been appearing here lately on FR in numbers reminiscent of rats leaving a sinking ship.

Most of the trolls here are funded by George $oreA$$ via CREW, the ACLU and the Log Cabin Demos in drag. They are not republicans, conservatives and probably not very straight.
Below is our response to them.

In other words, you're saying that as of a month ago had you lived in Florida you would have proudly cast a vote for Mark Foley.
Something to be proud of, no doubt.

I think Rove's Plan is working flawlessly!
- Control all the opinion polls
- Over sample dems (Make the opposition appear larger than it is)
- Have Republicans lie to the pollsters (Give the impression the base is disillusioned)
- Talking heads/pundits/unidentified sources predict huge (hugh) Republican losses
- Democrat voters become over confident (no need to vote since they've won already)
- Republican voters are revved up (can't wait to vote)
- Get all the scandals out there early
- Voters will forget by Nov. 7
- Show dem's hypocracy
- Something else will distract the media before election day (North Korea, Iran, Madonna adopts (buys) a baby)
- Reprogram all the Diebold machines
- Two R votes for every D vote.
- Every 15th vote goes to the Independent

Mmmmm - Carlo, I made Linguine with Clam Sauce a couple of days ago, and the recipe was nearly identical to yours, except that it called for 2T of flour right after the garlic, butter and olive oil.
Anyway, one thing I don't like about living in beautiful Oregon is that we have mail-in voting. Hubby and I always used to go and vote right after work - always made us feel as if we're really participating in the democratic (small "D") process. Voting by mail just takes some of the patriotic feel out of it, but we're going to dutifully fill out our ballots and mail them in (all Rs).
We have a bunch of state measures too, and the TV commercials for and against can make your head spin. We're just going to look at the arguments for and against in our pamphlet, and if labor unions and wacko tree-hugger groups are "for", then we're "agin"!
