Screw you trolls, I'm voting and I'm Voting all R's!

I don't know about you, but I have had it up to and including my A$$ with all the whining that is going on around here about what the Republicans have or have not done to deserve your vote this November.. I know for sure that if we had the Democrats in power the past 10 years it would be a hell of a lot worse, with or without President Bush.. I'm not entirely happy about many things that are happening, (fill in the blank, with garbage on the other threads), but I am thrilled that I am not paying as much in taxes as I would have with (fill in the blank with any jackass in the Democrat leadership).. And I am grateful as all get out, that we are not ducking terrorist bombs in my neighborhood, or anywhere else in these United States..

I think I can say without any reservations that Roberts and Alito are a whole lot better than anyone that Leaky Leahy or Turban Durbin would have approved.. And what about our military? Would we still have one if congress wasn't in our control?

Give me a friggin break, I haven't found one single person that makes all of my dreams come true, (even Nicole Kidman, I think) why should I expect more than a half dozen out of 435 Congressgritters to even agree with me on most of what I want done in our country.. Hell, I don't even get that in my own home with blood of my blood that even look like me!

So if it's all the same with you.. and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, I'm going to wake up on November 7th and make a great big special breakfast, with all the trimmin's and invite all of my kids and as many neighbors as I think I can bribe with food and feed them until they say Uncle Sam and drive their fat a$$es to the polls and get them to pull the lever for everyone with an R after their name to insure that I can sleep peacefully that night and hopefully ever night thereafter..

That's my plan, don't be a damned fool and mess up my vote with some stupid idea that will cancel mine out, just to prove that you can be as dumb as you sound!

Good post. Also, don't buy into the "caving-wimp Republican leadership" mantra. It is a creation of the MSM. I listen to Hugh Hewitt and other talk shows who have Republican politicos as guests all the time. They sure don't sound like wimps to me. The MSM only books or reports on the comments of the wimps (like McQuisling) to control the focus of the debate. Don't fall for it.

We aren't all a cardiologist's nightmare over here, MadIvan. Those 6 egg yolks and whipped cream sure made me blink. I'll bet your arteries are in great shape!

I live in Illinois. We have criminals and liberals on the Republican ballot. You are advocating we vote straight ticket. That includes all local offices and state offices.

It is a bizarre and childish, not to mention lazy, way to elect people to office.

Straight ticket voting is for when you have researched each and every person on the list and are too much in a hurry to check each one off individually. It's goofy.

MMmmm, sorry you can't get those old favorites anymore. :(

I keep a stash of caramelized onions in the freezer so I can always have some when I want them with something. They get sweeter after freezing, too.

While I can get Vidalias here, I mostly use Texas 1015's, out of Texas pride, I guess - and maybe a few price points of difference lower, lol. They do disappear quickly in the stores, though. I don't see Maui sweets very often.

Vidalias started from the same Spanish onions (granex) as our Texas sweets - then found their ideal planting soil over there in GA. I sure hope all our TX farmers did their planting on time - two days ago (10/15, thus the name).

Likewise. I am not entirely happy with the Republicans, but I can't get with all the "teach them a lesson" stuff. Speaker Pelosi is just way too high a price to pay! And thanks to those (like the poster of this thread) who remind of us all we have to be grateful for!

I don't need extensive research on each "R" .  I've seen the liberals in action and I will vote against each and every one of those commie bastards.  Straight "R" ticket here, no regrets.

Great post, carlo3b. The Dems Halloween mask is scare all the Republicans into staying home this election. The real fright is Pelosi and her chums in power. Let's turn out in droves and show them we support our President. And may I remind all you Conservatives who showed your moral indignation and stayed home, that you gave us Jimmy Carter--who gave us the Ayatollah--and Bill Clinton, whose corrupt gifts keep on giving.

This truly is a fight between good and evil!

And I agree with you, carlo3b, as far as always getting what we want. I don't even agree with my husband all the time, and he's really a nice guy! :)

Ah, I thought so - it's the same recipe I use. Really enjoyed his PBS (ssshh!) program for years - learned a lot about oriental cooking from those shows. Love the way he would say "little bit this" "little bit that."

Eggs Foo Yung are a "food memory" for me that comes back as an occasional craving. My dad made them in the 1950s when they were kind of a home-food fad.

The funny thing is, when I make them with fresh mung bean sprouts, I don't like them as much as when I make them with the canned "Chun King" type sprouts - it's something about the brine that contributes to my good "food memory."

Sure makes it handy to whip them up, though, if I have sprouts on the shelf. The toasted sesame oil is usually easily found with the Asian foods at the grocery. Buy the smallest bottle because a tiny amount goes a long way.

Is it possible to overcome the Philly voting machine in Pa.
I believe Santorum is going to win.I'm praying for it and God answers prayers. Do they not have Poll watchers in Philly? How can they explain the high turnout in all their Precincts. 20 people go in and 2,000 votes are cast?

Actually you vote for liberals. Often.

Why do you keep voting for liberals and criminals? And why do you advocate others act as responsibly as you do?

Is it so hard to actually know who you are voting for?

I have to conclude that it's easy to blow off on the net, but taking the time to actually help your country is way to hard for some.

So they advocate nonsense and act like they have some moral superiority. Nothing could be further from the truth in my view.

Bravo! Right on. I agree wholeheartedly with you.

NEVER AGAIN!

Have you noticed that the Dems aren't saying anything about what they are going to do when they supposedly win, and why any one should vote for them. They can't! They're trying to play mind games with Republicans. They're trying to keep us from voting. It's a pshychological game. They can't run on the issues, so they try and psyche us out and keep us from voting.

Won't work, I'm voting early, and like the Dems, often.
