If this was 1943 and you substituted any Japanese or German agent for Rahman, Stewart would have been executed without fanfare or debate. Likewise if Sandy Berger had been a FDR aide caught stealing/destroying documents regarding what his Administration knew about Pearl Harbor in mid-inquiry, he too would have been executed.
