Kerry Says He Deserves 2nd Chance in '08

How can you support GWB? You will hate me for even writing this but, ask yourself, does GWB really stand for you? Are you a middle class American citizen? I look at the posts on this board and my guess is, yes, most of you are middle class and you are supporting a POTUS who does not even come close to being a champion of the middle class, the heart and soul of this country. How can you so hate a man who actually fought for this country, who signed up twice to go to war, who came back and spoke out about the atrocities of war. You will go to bat for a "fortunate son" whose father made sure he had a cushy job in the TANG and yet you have no respect or honor for a man who put his life on the line. Do you really think that John Kerry at that time in his life was signing up because of his future political hopes? If you are a baby boomer, was that the first thing on your mind? Shame on all of you for discounting John Kerry and his service to this country. You have put your political persuasion before respect of someone who served for this country. You should be ashamed.

Let me explain how I feel:

I didn't say I hate Kerry. John Kerry is an opportunist. He has proven this again and again. He lives off other men's money by marrying women who inherited everything they have. He has never held a real job, been responsible for making a payroll, or accomplished anything of value in the decades he has pretended to be a U.S. Senator. He was against the Viet Nam war before he went, but he wanted a Kennedyesque PT109 type record, so off he went. He was in country just four months and racked up a number of medals including THREE purple hearts under extremely dubious circumstances. He filmed himself in reenactments of his "battles". He was not well liked or trusted and ended back stateside where he lied (not "spoke out")about his brothers-in-arms, and traveled to Paris to "negotiate" with the enemy. He threw away his medals and they reappeared in his office years later. Let me cut to the chase...I think he's a phony and is extremely dangerous to this country in any position of power.

As for George W. Bush, I like and respect the man. I don't agree with everything he has done, particularly lack of action on illegal immigration and overspending, but he is the man I supported in 2000, 2004 and today. There is nothing "cushy" about flying fighter jets in the TANG. And President Bush is REAL. He married a REAL wife. He has held responsible jobs in the REAL world where he was well-liked and respected. He is everything that the last few cnadidates from your side of the aisle are not.

In closing, I am not one bit ashamed, I am a proud conservative.

Kerry is as close to a worthless human being as you could get. Nothing is his life is of value to anyone. He was a disgrace to his uniform and a traitor to his country.

Exactly. The presidency is something one does to SERVE. It's not a prize to be won or a turn one takes for the glory and self aggrandizement because you did the 'right' things.
