Sen. John Kerry says he deserves a second chance if he decides to take another crack at becoming president.
The Massachusetts Democrat, who lost to President Bush in 2004, said it is a basic principle that "Americans give people a second chance. And if you learn something and prove you've learned something, maybe even more so. Now, I don't know what I'm going to do yet. We'll make that decision down the road."
Ronald Reagan twice unsuccessfully sought the GOP nomination for president before he got it — and won two elections for the White House.
"John McCain, their leading candidate — didn't he get kicked around South Carolina by the same president because he wasn't patriotic enough as a prisoner of war? He's now their leading candidate for president," Kerry said of the Republican Party. "Richard Nixon seemed to get kicked around pretty badly both running for president and governor, turned around and came back and got elected president."
Kerry faces a major challenge trying to convince Democratic activists that a recently defeated candidate can still carry his party's hopes for recapturing the White House.

Hillary can only win a National Election if there is a third Party candidate like Ross Perot. Thanks to old Ross we had 8 years of misery! There is still misery just thinking about the damage done during the Clinton years.

I love it when there are 6 to 8 Dems on stage fighting for the nomination. And they are critisizing each other and then when its all over and they have a nominee, that nominee has to stick with what he says and in a few days they are hugging each other........it'll be great!!

Little Georgie Soros, Arianna Huffington-Post and that Daily Kos guy are the DNC's new kingmakers. He needs to take this up with them.
I think he does deserve another shot. I'd love to vote against him for the second time. LOL

There now, that's better. It's not like we didn't know that he was planning on another run. Too many things pointed toward it before he even started making the noise. Things like, him reading the Bible. THAT was a dead give away. Remember how he messed Scripture up when he tried to quote it last time? LOL Then he went to Iraq to visit the troops. Next, he went to other countries so he could say he had the support of foreign ministers or President's of other countries. He's tried to do damage control on all of the areas that he was faulted on. I don't know if he's showing up to vote because he's been traveling around the country/world to make his case for becoming our next President, but I'd be willing to bet that he's rushed home to vote in between trips. He's so predictable. So, who is fooled now, John Kerry???? We're ready for ya!!
