Today, President Bush and Mrs. Bush joined Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld in Arlington, Virginia for the dedication of the U.S. Air Force Memorial.
Also in attendance were Chairman of the Air Force Memorial Foundation, Ross Perot Jr.; Secretary of the Air Force Michael Wynne; Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General T. Michael Moseley; Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Rodney McKinley; Secretary of Veterans Affairs James Nicholson and Major General Edward F. Grillo (USAF retired) President of the Air Force Memorial Foundation.

Later, President Bush delivered a short statement about North Korea to the press on the South Lawn of the White House before he returned to Camp David.

I was very pleased in how the oven cooked the cake. Dad really likes this cake his mother and grandmother used to make something similar.
I found this recipe in the set that mum bought for me when I was a teenager so do not know if it is anything near the one that they made but he says that it tastes similar.
Hardly anyone under about 60 in Britain has ever heard of this cake. I like it though you have the sweet sponge cake taste and then the contrasting caraway seed taste to counter the rich cake mix.

I made some chocolate brownies a couple of weeks ago to an American recipe wow the difference they were wonderful. I could only eat one small piece at a time though they were so rich.
I do not think I could put anything with them though maybe a small amount of fresh cream which would lessen the sweet taste but not sweet ice cream.
