This is video footage of "Coming Out Day" at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Wed. October 11th. Coming Out Day is some sort of National Gay Holiday or something. The first few seconds of footage are from a press conference that I forgot to cut from the beginning.
Some people from an evangelical organization came to preach at UALR, they are the guys in purple shirts and black pants. It appears they had been there for a few minutes before I arrived. The extremely loud femenine guy in the grey Army Sweats is Drew Pritt. Pritt is a 30 something flaming homosexual student who passed a resolution in the UALR senate supporting "Gay Pride Day". He was also a Democrat Primary candidate for Arkansas Lieutenant Governor. The crowd was mainly gay pride people and hippies so it was mainly an argument.
While I'm sure the evangelical group knew all about the Bible, they seem to be too uptight about how they witnessed. What they were saying was the truth, but the way they came across didn't go to well with the crowd. As far as I know, neither Mark Foley nor Gerry Studds were involved in this event.
Oh good, bj and the missus klinton will be there so she can 'come out'....

The video is marked as a Private Video, and won't display. What's the deal.
Gerry Studds was otherwise occupied:
Set for private viewing.
Have to go through the registration process.
No thanks. I don't register on sites. Most youtube videos can be seen by anyone. There's no reason I can think of to make this private and then post it.
I'm very careful about which sites I register with. Every time I register on a site, it seems to increase the spam I receive.
I don't really care, but if a guy's going to post a link to some video he made, then he oughta make it visible, don't you think?
You know, I was wrong. I actually am registered on youtube.com. I logged in there, and still could not view the video.
Again, what's the point of posting info on some video here on Free Republic, then denying other freepers the opportunity to see it? I just don't get it.
"OK, listen up! Pitchers on the right! Catchers on the left!"
I just set the video to public. Sorry about that.
Drew Pritt is an Internet celebrity due to his frequent attempts to run for office, which result in vast amounts of hilarity. He has tried to run for office at least as often as Lyndon LaRouche but has been far less succesful, garnering just single-digit poll numbers in the two occasions he has actually made it onto the ballot (for a city council position in Warren, AR and a county supervisor position in Bradley County, AR.) This doesn't deter him from announcing for virtually every office he can in multiple states.
Pritt got his start as a write-in candidate for the Arkansas Legislature in his first forays into electoral politics, in his early twenties. When these ventures proved unsuccessful, he went to Washington as an intern for a US Senator from Arkansas. In this position he lasted all of two weeks before getting fired. The legendary history of Pritt's termination is that he had asked for a day off to attend a Democratic political meeting while working for a Republican. Rebuffed, he then called in sick, assuming that the staff of a US Senator just fell off the turnip truck yesterday. When his office sent several fellow interns to the meeting to locate Pritt, they found him coming out. When he saw them, he started limping He was immediately fired.
Without a source of income, Pritt attempted to stay in Washington, but ended up bouncing a bunch of checks to stay afloat. Hot checks, incidentally, became a major part of the Pritt repertoire. He would ultimately spend time in jail in West Virginia for writing checks on an empty bank account.
Pritt later went on to launch a campaign for the US House in Tennesse. He failed because he could not obtain 25 signatures (yes, 25) that he needed to qualify for the ballot. He would later claim that he had been drafted for this race, presumably by the same people who killed OJ's wife and ruined Enron when Ken Lay wasn't looking.
In early 2005, Drew announced his candidacy for Congress in Wisconsin. A month later he dropped out and headed home to Arkansas, having found that he could not even win support in the state that elected Joseph McCarthy to the Senate.
Most recently he ran for Lt. Governor of Arkansas, spurning a wild web following that regards his campaigns as major lulz. Added to the humor is the fact that he clearly regards the internet as serious business and will respond to comments about him on message boards, even going so far as to write his own Wikipedia page (which was later deleted.)
Drew is best known for having spent some time living in his mom's basement, and for having reached 30 and lost most of his hair without ever having had a real job.
A Democratic candidate for Arkansas lieutenant governor paid restitution for checks written on a U.S. Senate account while on the staff of then-U.S. Sen. Tim Hutchinson, a Republican, records show.
Andrew Caleb Pritt of Warren was charged with writing unauthorized checks in 1999, a Class C felony. The charges were dropped on Oct. 17, 2003, after Pritt paid restitution and fees of $1,617.44, according to a spokesman for the Drew County Circuit Clerk's office in Monticello.
The checks were drawn from the U.S. Senate Credit Union, according to the information on the arrest warrant that was issued in the case. A spokesman for the U.S. Senate staff said in a telephone interview that Pritt was on Hutchinson's staff in 1999.
Pritt announced his race for lieutenant governor on Aug. 1. He is a graduate of Hermitage High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He said he has operated his own political consulting firm and has worked for a number of national, statewide and local campaigns across the country. That experience includes working as a field coordinator for retired Gen. Wesley Clark in his presidential campaign, he said.

Pritt is an an active member of Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas. He is a member of the National Cathedral Association, Delta Caucus Initiative, the NRA, the Knights of Pythia, the Interfaith Alliance, and the Human Rights Campaign. He has been recently named the Entertainment Coordinator for Pride 2006 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Drew Pritt is a candidate for public office from the state of Arkansas. Pritt is the son of a Presbyterian minister and is a strong supporter of organized labor, as well as the cousin of former State Senator Charlotte Pritt and Roger Pritt of West Virginia. He has worked as a political consultant and served as Democratic County committeeman for Bradley County, Arkansas, from 1992 to 1998.
For clarity's sake, do you mean activism of Free Republic Chapters, protests of of Free Republic Chapters, news of of Free Republic Chapters and business of of Free Republic Chapters? Because clearly this article is about both activism & protests, albeit of other groups.
I clicked the link again, and it still comes up as a private video. Never mind. I've moved on to threads.
