"This guy was a pedophile. I'm sorry, for the sake of his loved ones, that he died but where is the outrage?"

Bears repeating..

It's already been AT LEAST 11 days since he fell unconscience ON Oct 3rd in the hospital. The "accident" could have occurred a week before that. No one is saying.

Did his homosexual buddy "pull the plug" in the end??

I refuse to recognize this as a marriage. There is no such thing. You don't change a definition to suit personal whims.

Right, it is bizarre. Also, collapse we could understand but they report 'accident'?

I never heard of anyone being killed walking a dog.....he just fell over bumped his little head and died? Not believable at all.

IIRC Robert Atkins of the Atkins Diet fame died in a similar fashion...

Now that he's dead, that's off limits.

Just the opposite, IMHO.
After the person dies, the gloves come off.

But enough about "other" favorite pastimes of the homosexual community...

NO cheers, unfortunately.

Pray for his soul. Pray for his survivors.

Wonder if there ever were any emails from Studds to Foley?? Studds' partner is 49...close to Foley's age (52).

But never lose sight of the fact that Bubba was 52 (the same age as Foley) when Monica "gave at the office".

I think this whole thing will boil down to "personal privacy" and Hillary will (via one of her bootlickers) propose the legislation. That'll keep Bubba's perversions out of the press in 2007.

The autopsy should be easy...Doc won't even have to cut to get a look inside.

Quick time line recap:

Friday, Sept 29, Mark Foley resigns and story breaks

Tuesday, Oct 3, Gary Studds has collapse (from blood clot in lung) while walking dog.

Sunday, Oct 8, Chris Wallaces appologizes for something he said and reports "Gary Studds to be alive and well" [and does NOT report that Studds was hospitalized]

Saturday, Oct 14Gary Studds dies in the hosptital of complications.

I know clots in the lungs are not a symptom of this, but...

has anyone checked Studds' system for ricin?

Convenient timing, I would say.

I just heard on ABC radio that Gerry Studds had a blood clot in the brain that caused him to loose consciousness while walking his dog. This was the cause of his death. I guess that puts to bed my wild speculation.

Atkins was on an icy street....thus some explanation for the fall and head trauma. I have yet to hear any such explanation for a 69 year old man out on a fall day in Boston. I am suspicious.

A blood clot is more believable as a cause of death.

He is survived by his husband.

eeewwwww! That is so disgusting. It's too bad he met God as a practicing homosexual.

Well, after reading how this has been resolved, I see that the media couldn't even get a simple death story correct on the first try.

My engineer husband doesn't get do-overs, and it galls me that the press can screw up such a simple story to the point that one thinks that there is something suspicious about the death.

Although I did like the idea of checking him for ricin. That shows a wonderfully suspicious mind, something which is a necessity this day.
