WASHINGTON - Federal prosecutors in Arizona have opened a preliminary investigation of a camping trip Congressman Jim Kolbe, R-Ariz., took 10 years ago that included two teenage congressional pages, a Justice Department spokesman told NBC News. NBC News first reported on the camping and rafting trip on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the Justice Department in Washington said that the U.S. attorney in Arizona has started a "preliminary assessment" of the trip, after an unidentified source made allegations about the congressman's behavior on the expedition.

These pages were accompanied by 5 other adult staffers and even though they say nothing inappropriate happened the MSM is going to uncover that all 5 other staffers were involved in a molestation?

However, the former page who is the one to whom Kolbe allegedly paid special attention said he had a "blast" on the trip and did not report anything improper to this parents or any House officials after the trip. Presumably this person is 27 or so today and is not reporting any misbehavior.
Unfortunatetly, many even here on FR will be taken in by this witch hunt by Dems.

It gets worse
"NBC News interviewed several people who were on the trip, and their accounts vary. One participant, who requested anonymity, said he was uncomfortable with the attention Kolbe paid to one of the former pages. He was "creeped out by it," he said, adding that there was a lot of "fawning, petting and touching" on the teenager's arms, shoulders and back by Kolbe."

So I take it that MSNBC supports the Boy Scouts of America in their ban on gay scoutmasters.

Kolbe is leaving and this nothing happened 10 years ago. There was 5 adults with the pages and the biggest allegation was lots of petting on the arm, shoulders and back as reported by one unnamed source.

I think we have reached the point that further accusations will not have any substance. The Mark Foley accusation was started early because there was some fact behind it and this gave the Media time to dig out more info and put it on the television.
I doubt there is any substance behind the accusation of Kolb. However, the time line to the election is short. The DemonRat strategy is a new accusation every day or two to keep any serious issues from being debated. The fact there is no truth behind the accusation is not important. Thy want to scream scandal scandal scandal until election day and not debate issues.

It seems the democrats have figured out that speaking against homosexuals gets them votes. (not they will stop supporthing homosexual causes, they are just desperate for votes)
It also seems democrats are rewarding the homosexual lobby for being such useful idiots.

Check out how they credited the writers,"Jim Popkin, Aram Roston and the NBC News Investigative Unit". I've never heard of an "Investigation Unit" that the whole goal is to find out nothing happened but pretend it did.

Homosexual men hustle for other men 24/7. That is what they are about. Everything else is subordinate.
So what's the surprise here. They get celebrated by the left, are "proud" of their lifestyles, and like Masons, seem to have a secret code to recognize each other.. YUK!
