AP: Air America Radio Files Chapter 11 Friday October 13, 10:37 am ET Liberal Talk Radio Network Air America Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
NEW YORK (AP) -- Air America Radio, a liberal talk and news radio network, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, a network official told the AP. The network had denied rumors just a month ago that it would file for bankruptcy, but on Friday Air America said negotiations with a creditor from the company's early days had broken down.
The network will stay on the air while it resolves issues with its creditors, spokeswoman Jaime Horn told the Associated Press. A formal announcement was expected to be made later Friday.
I just download songs I want from Limewire while rakishly twirling my moustache and adjusting my monocle. That takes care of my music needs.

Good...now maybe their Boston affiliate will go go back to their previous format (Sinatra,Maguire Sisters,etc) which I really enjoyed.

That's one of the reasons it failed, I believe. Most Democrats can just watch the news or read the paper and get the liberal slant without having to listen to the talentless loser-moonbats on AA run the country down all day.

Problem here is, and I guarantee it, that the minute this show goes off the air, the leftw ill want Rush, Hannity and the rest to go off the air because of fairness.
I was having a debate this morning with a coworker who is a rabid lib and she actually thought Air America is an Airline!!! She said "I've heard so much about them but I can't find out how to buy tickets, my friends said it was run by liberal Democrats."
Can you believe that?

The main reason why socialist/elitist morons like Franken, et al fail at talk radio is their near total inability to deal with opposition callers on an objective and rational basis -- assuming an opposition caller can even penetrate the intensive "screening" (read that "CENSORING") by the production people on such programs.
So much for all the left's BS about "diversity."
