FOLEYGATE RESEARCH(vanity)
research | 10/12/06 | penelopesire

Posted on 10/12/2006 7:02:12 PM PDT by penelopesire

here goes nothing:

I wrote this to you all last week(just didn't send it)....since then, much has come to light! My stuff has been sent to the FBI and Hastert's office from a (you'll love this).....KINKOS....lol.

However..the FBI has my real name and all relevant info, should they ever give a damn.

But this much I have ready to go tonight. Please excuse the typos, the somewhat disjointed format, etc.:

Dear Fellow Freepers,

Many of you have written and asked me to let you know what my research into the whole Foleygate has revealed and I think it is time to put it out there and let you folks decide. Whether or not it is later to be discovered as a piece of this Foley Scandal, IT IS STILL EXTREMELY DISTURBING! When several Freepers brought up blogactive.com the first day the scandal broke, I went there to see what it was all about. It disgusted me the minute the first page opened and it was obvious this man was a vicious little gay blackmailer and extortionist! After reading through the site and doing some googling around with his name, MR. MIKE ROGERS could be nothing but the prime ‘suspect’ in this whole affair. As most of you know by now, he admitted as much. So while the really good freeper’s were getting to the bottom of the immediate questions, like who were the actors, who sent the emails and instant message and who knew what and when, I was still trying to google Mike Rogers into the bottomless pit of the internet….lol. A fellow freeper( who doesn’t want to be named) sent me a link to Mike Rogers resume online and that was what really got the ball moving in a more focused direction.

Here is what I discovered:

His last known job was listed as a fundraising consultant for Marge Barton & Associates out of NY from 1/97-present. So I started there and from what I can tell, Marge Barton is deceased now, but was instrumental in starting a company called gayellowpages.com (one y, not two). Then I did a domain search on the site where I found it and here is what it turned up:

Now..pay attention to this character above and the address: Ferrell Ard and 414 High Point Drive, Cocoa, Florida 32926

I then decided to go to the website that his email indicated. Badpuppy.com Not going to link it because it is a disgusting gay porno and ‘hook up’ site. I hurriedly copied the URL and went searching domain registers with that site. That domain search turned up other intriguing clues. It is Registered as Bad Puppy Enterprises , Inc. A man by the name of William Pinyon and Ferrell Ard at 414 High Point Drive, Cocoa, Florida. I won’t waste bandwidth printing out the domain results, but you can go look them up if you are interested. I later discovered he has several gay porn sites.

Next I decided to google Ferrell Ard into the wee hours of the morning and here is where it gets intriguing. One link I found for him was on POLITICS1 website:

Politics1.com

Looking for his name on the site, I found an ad that said this:

http://www.politics1.com/websites.htm

from the site:

"Softec Systems is proud to host the Politics1 site and provide it with fast, responsive technical support. We also host the popular HillZoo.com site for Congressional staffers and the homepage of The Congressional Club (the official organization for Congressional spouses). Softec provides a full range of Internet services including website hosting, high-speed dedicated business connections, DS-3 and T1 connectivity, USENET feeds, DNS, email, dual redundancy and website development. WTH???? Softec is 'hosting' webpages for CONGRESSIONAL STAFFERS??

So off to the Softec Systems site where I found this:

NOW, I really could not sleep, so I decided to make a pot of coffee and pull an ‘all nighter’.

The domain search on politics1 turned up this:

HERE WE GO AGAIN……SOFTEC SYSTEMS AGAIN ABOVE

(MANY MAY KNOW ALREADY) MR. GUNZBURGER IS A PRETTY NOTORIOUS POLITICO FROM FLORIDA. His mother was made famous in the 2000 recount in Broward County. Here is his Wikipedia entry:

Ronald M. "Ron" Gunzburger (b. 1963) is a Florida attorney, communications consultant, and publisher of the Politics1.com website. Born in New England, Gunzburger grew up in South Florida. He earned his B.A. degree in Political Science from George Washington University in 1984, and then worked as a legislative assistant in two Congressional offices on Capitol Hill. He then went to Vermont Law School, where he earned the J.D. degree cum laude in 1987. Specializing in direct mail and message development, Ron Gunzburger worked as a professional campaign consultant for 20 years in over 125 campaigns ranging from municipal races through Congressional campaigns. His innovative and often humorous campaign ads have been featured on NBC's Today Show, CNN's Headline News and in numerous print articles. Selected by the US Secretary of Defense, Gunzburger spent nine days participating in DOD's prestigious JCOC program in 2001. Most recently, Gunzburger volunteered in January 2004 as a Howard Dean campaign GOTV ward captain in Concord, New Hampshire during the primary campaign. He remains active in numerous civic and progressive organizations. A trial attorney since 1988, Gunzburger has previously served as an Assistant Public Defender, an Assistant Attorney General of Florida (RICO Unit, Economic Crimes Division), and as a litigation partner in a large national law firm. Gunzburger was a candidate for Broward County Judge in 1994, losing in the run-off (45% - 149,000 votes). He was again a candidate in 2002, challenging an incumbent Circuit Court Judge in the 17th Judicial Circuit (Broward County) of Florida – in a county where no incumbent circuit judge had lost a race for re-election in over 60 years – but missed qualifying for the run-off by a 2% margin. He is currently General Counsel and Director of Administration for Broward County Property Appraiser Lori Parrish. The South Florida Business Journal honored Gunzburger and 39 others in 1998 with its prestigious "40 Under 40 Award" for achieving career excellence before age 40. [edit] Politics1.com Moving into the realm of new media, he created and launched the Politics1 web site in late 1997. While the site initially published a political newsletter (The Politics1 Report), Gunzburger converted the weekly newsletter into an online blog in late 2001. On May 6, 2006, Gunzburger announced that he intends to run for a Broward County, Florida judge, and turn the day to day operations of his website to his partner, Dana F. Buker [1]. A few days later, he announced that he decided against running for judge, even though it was likely that he would run unopposed, because of his passion for politics [2]. He has therefore resumed running his website. [edit] Family Ron Gunzburger is the son of Sue Gunzburger, who earned national attention for her prominent role in the 2000 Presidential recount as the Broward County Commission Chair who served on the Broward County Election Canvassing Board. Ron got his first political experience working on his mother's winning campaign for Hollywood, Florida, City Commissioner in 1982. In June 2006, Gunzburger went to Toronto to marry his partner of 19 years, Dana Buker [3]. INTERESTING….ISN’T IT? It can be safely assumed at this point in the dig that he and Ferrell Ard know each other in some way, since Ferrell Ard bought ad space on his website. But it is not conclusive. So let’s continue……and leave Ron Gunzburger here for the moment and head back to Mr. Ferrell Ard from 414 High Point Drive, Cocoa, Florida 32926..shall we?

Upon further reading on Ferrell Ard, I discovered that our little model businessman is a member in the BBB in Florida:

http://72.14.209.104/search?q=cache:Nx8SHz2m7hIJ:www.orlando.bbb.org/codbrep.html%3FID%3D12001172%26cons%3Dy+%22Ferrell+ARD%22&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=17

and the Chamber of Commerce:

But I digress….now back to the really disturbing part:

RON GUNZBURGER

Gunzburger’s move to Hillzoo according to Law.com:

http://216.239.51.104/search?q=cache:hmzMz4wksUwJ:www.law.com/special/professionals/amlaw/lateral/jkl.html+%22Lobby+For+Me,+Inc.%22&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd

WELL WELL WELL…now we have a good reason to believe Ron and Ferrell are pretty tight! I am not sure when SOFTEC SYSTEMS, which is owned by the GAY PORN KING, got the gig over at HILLZOO. COM or whether Gunzburger was even there when he got it. But it might be a good question for the media to ask him or a grand Jury!!

YEP….THAT’s ole BAD PUPPY, Ferrell Ard!!

This is pretty interesting too, but irrelevant(maybe):

Gunzburger marries Boyfriend

http://216.239.51.104/search?q=cache:kynlypEOn4kJ:shamgarreport.blogspot.com/2006/06/ron-gunzburger-marries-boyfriend.html+Ron+Gunzburger&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=7

You guys can google Ole Ron and find out that he dropped out of some race in Florida under pretty intriguing circumstances….. I am sure you can find lots of other connections.

Now we know from other great bloggers work out there the connection between John Avarosis and Mike Rogers…..

And here we have Melanie Snow from CREW with John Aravoisis:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=%22Melanie+Sloan%22+%2B+%22john++aravosis%22&btnG=Search

There is lots more…but this is enough to ask ourselves some very important questions at this point. There are certainly lots of intriguing questions here….. and it may just be nothing (according to the Florida FBI chick I talked to yesterday) In the middle of my story, she asked me what was wrong with this PORNO KING RUNNING WEB SITES FOR CONGRESSIONAL STAFFERS and why he could not have two businesses.

Enter heavy sigh and a call today to the Texas boys! I doubt they will call me back either…...we’ll see. She just took the info and pretty much tried to get rid of me the minute I brought Ron Gunzburger into the mix!! Maybe she is a democrat….lol… I honestly did not know who the man was before I began this search…..lol

Here are my questions, regardless of whether this SOFTEC SYSTEMS is involved in this particular scandal. Can they capture info on these Congressional Staffers webpages by being the internet provider, etc.? Who hired them and why? AND WHAT THE HELL IS A FLORIDA GAY PORN KING doing hosting web pages on Capitol Hill? Now I understand this is not a government site, but these Congresscritters are not allowed to have campaign type info on their dot gov sites…they have to go elsewhere. How many folks in Congress are using SOFTEC? How many CONGRESSIONAL WIVES ARE?

What the hell is going on!!

Interestingly enough..Nancy Pelosi took her blog down a while back! Here is a link to go find out who has blogs on Capitol Hill.

Here is the link: be careful…... I think it is owned by none other than RON GUNZBURGER….lol

http://64.233.187.104/search?q=cache:eZFhmRYtTVIJ:www.pkblogs.com/lawmakers+%22Nancy+Pelosi%22+%2B+%22+Ron+Gunzburger%22&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=10

It came up under a search for connections between ole ‘nancy and ron’…LOL (HAS A CERTAIN SWEET RING TO IT…..) Hey…..maybe these two can run for the Executive Seat at THE BIG HOUSE???????

Heading to bed…..so if this gets posted…I may not be responding to it until the morning. But tell me what you think folks….is there a there there…or have I googled myself into stupidity…..LOL

FREEPERS ROCK!!

10 Years in the Doghouse: Pioneering gay site Badpuppy celebrates a decade of decadence.

Badpuppy turning 10 was a very wonderful feeling,” says Badpuppy president Bill Pinyon. “This is the longest I have ever been on the same job. I cannot imagine a world without Badpuppy, my partner Steve, and our entire staff. Some of them have given me as much as nine years of their lives, and most have been there more than six years. We owe a lot to them.”

Pinyon, a computer science specialist who was working as a network administrator at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral when his boss asked him to participate in a project built around a new technology called the Internet, already had been using single-line dial-up BBS software and jumped at the chance to get involved with an international network that connected people from all over the world.

"You don't suppose someone who hosted DC page websites would hack or steal the identity of one said page and falsely represent themselves as said page in order to rope a Congressman, do you?"

I think it is apparent to everyone that Foley did something pretty sick.

It is the rest of it that should concern us all and the FBI needs to look into it!

Besides, I wonder how many folks on Capitol Hill would fancy the fact that a Gay Porn King is running internet service for Congressional Staffers and the Congressional Club?

“Already we can see the rumblings of legislation in Congress,” says Tim Lordan, executive director of the advisory committee to the Congressional Internet Caucus. “It’s definitely going to color the debate.” Lordan, a board member for the Internet Education Foundation, moderated the event. However, parents of Web-browsing children should not view Foley as the classic example of an Internet predator, Lordan says.

“His interactions with these teenagers were begun with notes in the hallway, walks for ice cream down the street. I mean, he attended the pages’ graduation,” he says. Yet, parental fear fueled by recent events could encourage legislators to push for more stringent Internet laws, Lordan says.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) are among public officials who support legislation that would require data retention, which would force Internet service providers to document and store all users’ online activities. Under this policy, ISPs would be forced to keep records of a user’s every move indefinitely, from website postings to search engine queries.

“Before too long, you have a serious surveillance system operating on all of us,” says Jim Harper, who spoke on the panel. Harper is the director of information policy studies at the Cato Institute, a nonprofit libertarian research foundation. “The data obtained by the data-retention mandate will be used for all kinds of investigation. Law enforcement will switch from pursuing criminals...to pursuing people.”

By early 1996, just hours after the passage of the Communications Decency Act, BadPuppy had re-invented itself as a kind of "Geocities of gay cyber-porn", with over 30 individual contributors running websites as part of the badpuppy.com domain. Now, with 23 employees (Assistant to the CEO Lisa Turner jokes, "We've got half of NASA working here!") and no end in sight to the growth, BadPuppy has its own original "models" and merchandising. It's also become a sponsor of major events in Orlando (including the upcoming Gay Day activities at The Club).

OMG!! Just read through your last post! Remind me to never buy anything that Hormel makes again for as long as I live!!

This just makes my heart big and sore. Filthy Predators!! So, this Badpuppy is the same as the Badpuppy in Florida? It sounds like it.

Like I said in an earlier post, it is not hard to imagine them targeting pages on Capitol Hill. It is not hard to imagine a young college student with loads of college debt thinking that by posing for a few 'harmless' pics, he could maybe pay off said debt!
It is not hard to men just as they are trying to start their careers!!

It needs to be looked into by the FBI!!
Thanks for the info.

Who swept it under the rug?

From what we can tell so far, it was the DEMOCRATS who swept it under the rug, until they wanted to pick the rug up right before the election.

If you can not tell how this could be relevant or at the very least disturbing beyond words, then there isn't enough time in the day to spell it out for you.

Adult Industry Finally Gets A Voice in Congress
By Matt O'Conner
Friday, January 13, 2006

LOS ANGELES — The Adult Freedom Foundation has announced that General Counsel Paul Cambria has been invited to testify before a Jan. 19 U.S. Senate hearing on Internet pornography.
The invitation marks a major shift in the Senate’s attitude toward the industry. Representatives from various industry groups have repeatedly been denied the opportunity to participate in hearings on the subject.

Cambria will present oral testimony and then participate in a panel discussion before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.

In a letter to the AFF, Committee Chairman Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, asked Cambria to focus his testimony on “what appropriate controls might be placed on pornography on the Internet and whether there is a role that government might play.”

“I’m pleased that the committee is allowing me to appear on behalf of the Adult Entertainment Industry to present a balanced picture on this important issue,” Cambria said. “All too often in the past, Congress has heard only one side of issues involving the [adult] industry. I’m hoping my appearance will mark a turning point in allowing AFF expert witnesses to testify at future hearings.”

Cambria acknowledged the support of AFF founders and the efforts of AFF media consultant John Pauly in making this breakthrough possible.

Who swept it under the rug?

This was not my question, however, anyone and everyone who knew about the actions of this predator is just as guilty as the offender himself. I don't care about party politics or political advantage. Everyone involved desrves to be canned immediately.

From what we can tell so far, it was the DEMOCRATS who swept it under the rug, until they wanted to pick the rug up right before the election.

Spare me the drama...........and the finger pointing, you know as well as I do that this predatory behavior is criminal and MUST be treated as such.

If you can not tell how this could be relevant or at the very least disturbing beyond words, then there isn't enough time in the day to spell it out for you.

if you see this only as political dirty tricks, there is no hope for you.

Now, I'm certain that you really do understand the criminal nature of foley's acts, and that everyone who knew and did nothing to protect the children is equally at fault. So I would suggest forgetting about the dirty tricks and focus on my original question:

What does all this crap have to do with the problems related to an old queen hitting on teen-aged boys and the resulting fire-storm surrounding the "sweeping-it-under-the-rug" approach to punishing the perpetrator?

If you don't see a problem with Gay Porn Kings(with questionable backgrounds involving possible pedophelia) providing internet service for Congressional Staffers and Congressional wives on Capitol Hill, then there is no hope for you.

If you don't see a problem with the dems holding on to emails and IM's that were potentially 'criminal', as you say, then there is no hope for you.

If you don't see anything wrong with the possibility that democrat and/or gay activists are 'wiretapping' people on Capitol Hill...there is no hope for you.

If you don't see anything wrong with snooping in people's emails in order to gather political dirt and/or to blackmail them with, then there is no hope for you.

No one is defending Foley here, but thanks to the dems in DC,16 is the legal 'age of consent'.....so there is not much chance of Foley being found guilty of anything criminal.

So, your premise is actually incorrect, his behavoir was not 'criminal'. Despicable yes, but not criminal.
So spare me the drama.

This all started with somebody "outing" Foley, and pointed towards Foley trolling the ranks of the House Page program for fresh young boys; and we all recognize that as demented and criminal behavior (regardless of what the "age of consent" is).

Shifting our focus away from Foley's act/s and looking at the bigger picture... it appears that there may well be a whole cottage industry of page trolling by what seems to be a repeating cast of characters.

The same guys who run a gay porn server (some in "the industry" would say it's the largest/most successful gay porn site on the web) also run a "legitimate" server which has as its customers congressional staffers and congressional spouses.

These characters who run/own both the gay porn as well as the "legitimate" server have what amount of access to personal information, personal communications, personal "preferences" of those hill staffers, spouses and politicians?

All questions that need to be asked and investigated. It may well be that Foley is just a small part in a very large operation.

What does all this crap have to do with the problems related to an old queen hitting on teen-aged boys and the resulting fire-storm surrounding the "sweeping-it-under-the-rug" approach to punishing the perpetrator?

See above.

"There are lots of folks in the web hosting business. It would be interesting to see if these guys offered special discounts in order to get the "targeted people" to sign up.
Was the service offered at discount prices??? THAT would be interesting."

What else would be interesting to know, is how much gay porn spam did they send to the 'target/s' via the 'internet'?
If they were running the internet service and the gay porn service...it would be easy to track who bought what and when.
Also would be interesting to know if any of the former pages were actually involved in 'Badpuppy'. I know that is not PC to wonder, but it is a legit question.

What is the cover-up, exactly. We don't know what Hastert and Shimkus knew and when they knew it, so how can people be outraged about a GOP "cover-up"?

It's particularly galling when the party making the big stink about what may have occurred were up to their necks in cover-ups for far more serious transgressions..

Me think he doth protest too much. Makes me wonder if we were just paid a visit by Mike Rogers?
