I think Ralph Norman -- a decent challenger BTW -- is trying to put pressure on Spratt and set himself up for an open seat race. This district should eventually go Republican as Rock Hill et al become Charlotte suburbs.
How is the Upstate going? They are the ones that MUST unseat (Hugh McColl's aka BankofAmerica's patsy) BTW, think the world of Hugh, but Spratt just feeding money into our area hand over foot to buy votes and IT IS working!! We are a totally democratic county. Hopefully, Norman can get a foothold in the more conservative areas and win!!
