Kerry calls Iraq vote his greatest regret

WASHINGTON --Four years to the day after voting to authorize war in Iraq, Senator John F. Kerry today asserted that the vote is his greatest regret of his political career, and said all lawmakers who voted for the war should admit that it was a mistake.

"There's nothing -- nothing -- in my life in public service I regret more, nothing even close," Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, wrote in a dispatch on the liberal blog HuffingtonPost.com. "We should all be willing to say: I was wrong, I should not have voted for the Iraq War Resolution."

snip......

Throughout his 2004 presidential campaign, Kerry said that he would not have changed his vote to authorize force to topple Saddam Hussein. His struggles to articulate his position on the war epitomized his difficulty in communicating his campaign message.

Today's pronouncement marks Kerry's latest attempt to establish himself as a firmly anti-war senator as he prepares for another possible run for the White House. ..............

"His greatest regret". That's funny, I seem to remember reading somewhere that that was exactly what John Kerrys' father said about him.

GO AWAY! You lost. Now, SHUT UP!

No one, absolutely no one, cares what YOU THINK! Not even Mrs. Ketchup cares what you think. You don't get a "do-over" to run again. Hillary will see to that!

Any bets on how long before he says it's his greatest pride? About a day after we win is my guess.

His momma made an even greater mistake.

Abortion wasn't legal at the time, but coat hangers were.

"We should all be willing to say: I was wrong, I should not have voted for the Iraq War Resolution."

That is why Kerry should never be President.

In making decisions of national and international importance, John, there are no do-overs. A President must make decisions, and then stand by those decisions. A President can't be changing his policies and decisions at the whim of polls or the blowing winds. And that, John, is why you should never be President; you are incapable of making decisions and sticking with them.

Our greatest regret, Senator Kerry, is that the Doctor dropped you on your head at birth. Our next greatest regret is that enough of your fellow Massachusseians, to elect you to the Senate, were also dropped on their heads at birth.

The good news is that there were not enough butterfingered Docs nation wide to dropping enough babies on their head, for you too ever be elected President.

Isn't he on the Intel Committee? And now he regrets his vote and says he was misled. So which is it Mr. Kerry, are you a lair or just incompetent?

At the time the French Poodle was for it because he believed Saddam Hussein presented a grave threat to our national security. Nothing in the past four years should have let him to regret it. Jean Francois Cheri is the typical weathervane politician - he changes his positions as readily as people change their underwear. The man is no real Profile In Courage.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus

Kerry is as shameless as ever. In a recent email, he tries to leave the impression that Iraqi Veterans are only on the Democrats side. He calls the rest of us slanderers, yet forgets, or ignores, his own slanderous past as well as those of his Democrat cabal:

John Kerry, Still Shameless
