"On a more serious subject, the Republican governor said a "lot of mistakes" were made during the war in Iraq" Saddam, his sons, and Zarqawi might just agree.

The United States should have been tougher when Iraq was first taken over. The rioting which occurred soon after Baghdad fell should have been quashed fast. Also, more troops could have been helpful. Furthermore, there should have been a massive attempt to censor media in and into Iraq; they should have been fed propaganda up until at least they had stabilized.

FO expects Tom not to dis Arnold. Let's see if that applies to Arnold dissing the President.

I too think we should leave - when the mission is completed.

Arnold IS right... he and the President have clear differences. The Democrats lie about him being a Bush clone. The voters know different.

I will vote for Arnold any day over that pencil neck geek, Angelides! Arnold is going to terminate him on November 7th.

Yes, I like Noonan's ideas as well.
I just wish either of these real men had a chance!

I just wish either of these real men had a chance!I think people look at third parties the wrong way. The point isn't to win as much as it is to make the RINOs win by such small margins (or lose) that the GOP will be afraid to run anyone but conservatives. I've seen so many FReepers say "I'm going to hold my nose and vote for so-and-so." I'm looking at the long haul. If people want to save the GOP, building the power of third parties seems to be the best strategy.

Did you actually WATCH and LISTEN to Arnold, or you are just regurgitating the MSM's lying version?
Obviously the latter.

I agree. That's why I'm voting 3rd party this year for the first time since I registered to vote. If more people would vote their consciouses instead of for the lesser of 2 evils, the GOP would either change to get those voters back or a real conservative 3rd party would emerge from the ashes and hopefully gain strength. The GOP may lose some elections and control of some legislative bodies, but if in the end we get back to what the Republicans used to stand for, it will be worth it.
I just worry now that if we lose the House, a Democrat House will vote for amnesty for tens of millions of uneducated law breakers. We already know a Republican Senate and WH will be all for that. I am so disappointed, I can't even express my disbelief that they would do that to us. For those that say I'm throwing my vote away, IMO I threw my votes away voting for Bush.
