Accident or attack, don't just be calm, spread calm.
Our heads are our best weapon.
Easy on the comms circuits, check 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, avoid elevators and obvious targets.
Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

I'm guessing accident, but if this were terrorism, the magnitude of the attack would only show how much of a joke they've become.

S.O.P..... This is not terror related, although no one knows what happened. Driver ran over 14 people in S.F. last month, declares he is a terrorist at arrest, MSM reports not terror related.Actually, at that level, it could be good to do this, so as not to encourage other terrorists/kooks. The media may have even been spoken to by the Feds.

In my experience, multi engine small aircraft do not hit buildings dead center on accident. I may be wrong but I sincerely doubt it. I does not add up.How about waiting for facts before spamming your conspiracy theories as fact? If you'd simply read the thread first you'd learn that at least one witness saw it hit and said that it did NOT head in directly, but appeared to come in at an angle. Appeared to be in distress, rapid descent, and the witness specifically said that it didn't appear to be aiming for the building. Think about it, if even a small plane had flown straight in it would have impacted more than just 4 windows.

If this was a terrorist attack, it doesn't help the Democrats. It's a very small aircraft and that would indicate that terrorists couldn't pull off anything with an airliner, so they had to go for a small craft from a small commutor aircraft which are impossible to secure because there are tens of thousands of them nation wide. If it was an airliner that would hurt Republicans, but IF it is terrorism, that tells me that airport security is so good, the terrorists had to go with a much smaller craft.
BUT that begs the question, why a relatively short building like this and not the Empire State or Chrysler buildings? They're much taller and national landmarks. I bet this was an accident. Hellicopters are tricky things and a BEAR to fly compared to any fixed wing aircraft, and any number of things on a helicopter can break and force that chopper down, and in NYC where so many tall buildings are, it's more likely then not that it was an accident. Might be terrorists, but as terrorist acts go, this would be pretty lame if this is the best they can do compared to 9-11.

The WW2 B-26 guys who smalled into the Empire State Building were flying in the fog at night at a time when a building as tall as ESB was extremely rare. Plus, they had no nav equipment.
Looks to me like the weather was clear as a bell b4 smoke. Mechanical failure clearly possible, but if it was COCKPIT TAKEOVER we will NEVER hear about it.....
This is MSM gov't SOP now --give the public the "mushroom treatment".

For what its worth---my opinion---a not very hard to prove terrorism dimension to this. I would be VERY surprised if it were an accident.

MSNBC is reporting that the FAA in Washington says it believes it may have been a FIXED WING aircraft operating under visual flight rules
Clearly contradicts the reports of a helicopter..who knows??

How could you fly into a building of this size by accident? Its been done.
In fact, even with modern instruments, pilots have crashed into bigger things, like mountains.
