WASHINGTON - Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid collected a $1.1 million windfall on a Las Vegas land sale even though he hadn't personally owned the property for three years, property deeds show.

In the process, Reid did not disclose to Congress an earlier sale in which he transferred his land to a company created by a friend and took a financial stake in that company, according to records and interviews.
The Nevada Democrat's deal was engineered by Jay Brown, a longtime friend and former casino lawyer whose name surfaced in a major political bribery trial this summer and in other prior organized crime investigations. He's never been charged with wrongdoing except for a 1981 federal securities complaint that was settled out of court.

More October surprises in storage and the Republicans will actually use them this time because they're mad about the way the Rats played this Foley thing,
Yup. He got blind sided by them. Now he and his lawyers are trying to figure out what to say.
Wonder if this story will get 0.0005% of the coverage of the Foley story... Who am I kidding. This story begins and end here with the MSM.
Reid is a big-time crook.
Not when there is a chance of losing Congress to these thugs. I do not think so. Payback time.
An October surprise courtesy of Hillary...
Oh I'd love Nancy Pelosi to be asked about this but I won't hold my breath.
Written like a veteran from Cook County. Pretty good.
It'd be nice.
Sorry to break it to you, bud, but Reid is a Democrat and is thus exempt from the law. He will not get questioned, let alone prosecuted, and no TV reporter will bring this up. No Republican talking head will mention it on any TV show for fear of being called "partisan."
Right now, the GOP Senators and the White House are launching an investigation to immediately fire anyone who might have ever even thought of talking to reporter about this. How dare the staff breach Senate traditions!
Orrin Hatch probably has a personnel list in his hot little hands right now trying to figure out which staffer he can fire and make himself look good in the process.
I question the timing of this :^)
Looks like it's the month of Deep Dark Secrets Battling Warrooms.
Aren't you talking about Nicholsons' movie, "China Town"?
Aren't you talking about Nicholsons' movie, "China Town"?
If Reid has to resign, Nevada's got a GOP governor, right?
October suprise.
SUPRISE!!!!
I hope FoxNews or someone will give these two a job after the Democrats fire them for this story...
Yup. They don't care that Reid is the most powerful Dem in Washington.
