"[W]hen the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, - who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually, by totally disusing and neglecting the militia."
-- George Mason (speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 14 June 1778)

buzz me to be added to the ping list.
...all we need to do is use them...
I wish that I had the wisdom that these men & women had back then. Even though they did not agree all of the time they did have the widom to pen such thoughts.
Then the msm just not understand why real Americans distrust our goverment, when it comes to our personal safety and security! This is why I am a PATRIOT & ready to answer the call again if needed!
Thank you.
And you do have the wisdom - they wrote it all down for us.
I do not have the way with words that these people had. all I can offer to my Country is my life's blood, sweat, toil & tears. What I write will not stand up to the ages the way that these folks do. so much for this. I am ready to deploy again if asked by my coutry [like the Minute Men of old!] I may not be able to run like I used to but I can still pull a trigger or pull a lanyard for a howitzer if needed.
it's an honor to have you post here.
a great quote from the masters of logic.....
I'll tell you what your words *did* do - they made my eyes mist up.
Semper Fi, Marine!
