Convert -- Pay -- Die
...better not make them mad.
Somalis: Making illegal Mexicans look good!
At the risk of offending those who practice that enlightened "Religion of Peace", I'll remind them the company has a work break policy for ALL its employees.
For them to have any case that Muslims are discriminated against, they'd have to show that non-Muslim employees get multiple prayer breaks at fixed times during the day, regardless of job responsibilities. I'm sure they don't.
As for them doing night work... Perhaps that's because most of the breaks these employees "need" are during the day? So Muslims are scheduled for night shifts so that the employer can get work out of them, without having to pay them to practice their great enlightened "Religion of Peace."
If this offends them they are free to seek employment elsewhere. We don't follow Sharia law in the United States... yet.
Why don't we do a telethon to send all whiney, complaining, intolerant Muslims back to their shiite-hole of origin?
F'em and call them a muslim cab.
Actually, it's fixed positions of the sun, so the times change daily (slightly.) Try getting smoking breaks set up like that at your job...
Why don't they return to lovely, peaceful Somalia, where they can pray unhindered by evil American work practices. I would contribue to their one-way ticket home.
I saw an article once where it says certain of these prayers are a half an hour long.
Does anyone know how long these prayers are? If each takes say, 20 minutes, are they talking about assembly lines being interrupted 5 times a day for 20 minutes each? Seems a burden to me.
Just go back to Somalia, idiots.
God,I'm sick of the whining.
Excellent place to keep your beheading skills sharp.
They think they can come here and get on the "lawsuit gravy train" I guess. I want all of them out of my country.
they're just trying to ruffle some feathers.
Let me guess, they all work in the beheading department.

"Fixed times of day" was easier to write... and explain to those in Rio Linda. ;)
If they want to pray five times a day they should have found a job that provided that ability. I'm No lawyer but I think they will lose this case because its unreasonable.
Let's see,Prayer five times a day, bathroom breaks,Lunch Breaks,Smoke breaks. How much time would that kill out of your average work day.
