I remember reading somewhere that the prayers can be done in 10 minutes or so. Could be off. I was a bit flip in my comment - lawsuits of this type are usually total BS. Certainly ones brought in summer are, as only 2 of the 5 times come during normal work hours then and one of them is during lunch. The times themselves last from about 40 minutes to a couple of hours, so there's a lot of flexibility in when the prayers can be said. In winter, especially further north, all 5 times can be during work hours. Regardless, if a company applies a consistent policy to all employees, they have no case.

And if all the prayer times happen during daylight hours then they can get a job on the night shift and pray at home on their own time. Oh... they're also complaining about having to work the night shift.
