Once again the Olney FReep had rain this morning. What made this morning tough was the cold breeze. (Do I hear violins yet?) We were glad that half way through it stopped raining and the flags and signs got a chance to dry out while we were FReeping. The chilly wind kept blowing though.
FReeper roll call included Cindy_True_Supporter (CTS), [Mrs] Trooprally ([Mrs] T), Lurker Bill and his daughter, and myself. [Mrs] T took the pictures so there are no pics of her today.
We out numbered the moonbats 4 to 5 on this rainy day. Their stal-"warts" didn't even show up. Olney's unofficial rain amount was 1 3/4 inches.
BELOW LEFT: CTS not warming up to the rain. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill and his daughter. She had to don gloves. Even the honks directed at her did not keep her warm.
BELOW: The wind keeping the flags unfurled. Even I had to don gloves after this pic was taken.
And the moonbats were there at 10:30 AM sharp, plus or minus 5 minutes. But they weren't too sharp.
BELOW LEFT: Moonbats hoping the telekinesis singing will bring out more moonbats with signs. Also hoping that we don't use BufordP's secret weapon (BELOW RIGHT) any more. (Pic compliments of \/\/ayne)
Where Have All The Moonbats Gone?
Long Time Slinking!
Where Have All Their Signs Gone?
Long Time Forgotten!
Where Have All Their U.S. Flags Gone?
Long Ago Trampled!
Where Has Barking Waveman Gone?
With Peek-A-Boo drinking Mad Dog! (Barf)
Where Has Chief Grumpy Gone?
To read "How to Win Friends and Influence People".
Where Have All The Moonbats Gone?
Once Again Showing Their Conviction!
"But wait," (one thinks) "we do have signs that we can hold. They will surely bring bring out our supporters. At least they'll feel sorry for our signs that suffer from "Male Cold Shrinkage Syndrome".
BELOW LEFT: This moonbat is quickly earning the name "Peek-A-BooTWO". She has had an umbrella or her poor puppy covering her face for the last several weeks. BELOW RIGHT: Blow up of her sign.
BELOW LEFT: This moonbat is scary. She arrived late and left early. BELOW RIGHT: Blow up of her sign.
REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney
NEW TIME - 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.
ROTFLOL
But, then we wouldn't be able to enjoy it! :o)
Thanks for ALL both of you do.
The 'great ones' are those who come up from Virginia. Luckily the ride is pretty easy.
It takes shorter time to get to Olney than Walter Reed, and Walter Reed is a shorter distance for some, due to Friday nite rush hour traffic. BMWcyle, Apple Blossom, BufordP, from Virginia, sometimes come to both.
Two FReepers occasionally come and stay at our house after Walter Reed for the Saturday Freep because they live too far away. Another FReeper who lives even further, plans a weekend in the D.C. area, going to WR and than Olney. He doesn't stay at our house because we smoke. But he is dedicated.
PS: I did get my kiss after my post. :-))

Good one! (I think you're Weird Al Yancovich in disguise)
Another excellent FReep and AAR! Thanks to all of you Olney stalwarts.
The lady in the bottom right picture looks a little like Tom's wife on "Tom Goes To The Mayor".
Thank you, I like the music from the 70's. It's a shame I can't remember how to spell though - it should have read encore, encore. I got so excited that I spelled it completely wrong. Yikes!
I know you've heard the song a million times over.
The actual words go:
"American woman, stay away from me..."
But, Wayne changed it around quite nicely.
I won a screen saver too, I'm feeling very lucky - maybe I'll go get a lottery ticket...
I'm envious. Seems like WR has the clear weather and Olney gets a bath. Jeez, I'm starting to sound like an old woman? :-))
[Mr] T
I'll have to look up "Tom Goes To The Mayor". Unless you have easy access to a link. Either way, I'm glad she is on the other side.
[Mr] T
Thanks for the ping Jan, I needed the laff!
I love the "Where is the protest against violent jihad?" sign, it cuts right to the heart of the matter.
I suppose the frothing mad moonbats may eventually pool their remaining resources to come up with an even smaller sign to counter that... one about the size of a postage stamp ("yeah, like dude, that will tell 'em!") when they get some spare time in between doing really important things, like passing the pipe around...
Bye, bye, Miss American Pie,
drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry,
them good ol' boys are drinkin' whiskey 'n' rye,
sayin' this'll be the day that I die,
this'll be the day that I die...
LOL!! Here's the latest Yankovic laff-fest: "White & Nerdy"
Great Job on the sign !!!
[Mrs T]
"American Pie" was sang by Don MacLean.
The Guess Who sang "American Woman", and "Clap for the Wolfman" (in reference to DJ "Wolfman" Jack)
Goodmorning DB - I was actually responding to post #14.
