Mike Rogers's public admittance that he was one of ABC's sources and had emails.
Haloscan.com ^ | October 2, 2006 | Mike Rogers

"As people know, it's not always possible for me to disclose my role in some of the activities."

"I can say this. I had the emails before they were on the net. Additionally, I had the additional emails, written by the page to a friend. The story was being written by a number of outlets and I provided additional information to reporters involved in the breaking of this story."

"Was the central figure in reporting on Foley's latest scandal? Never said I was. Was my work on the case important to helping make sure it came out before the election?" "Yes."

"Did I have any idea that the GOP leadership was engaged in a cover-up? Nope. Do I love the fact that they are trying to spin this as 'naughty emails?' Yup. because it shows how out of tought they are about queer closet cases."

Mike Rogers, radical gay activist, should be investigated for blackmail.

More from Mike Rogers: via www.sweetness-light.com

Is Gay Activist Michael Rogers Behind The Foley “Outing”? In a post at his Blogactive website, Michael Rogers seems to want to take a bow for his noble work: Good news... Bad news... Well the good news is that the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is finally getting it. I called their Director of Communications, Bill Burton, before the Foley story broke to let him know about Foley (and another case) were coming down the pike. While Burton promised to have someone email or return my call and didn't, I am glad he followed up on my call and was ready on Friday to come out of the gate running.

The bad new is they are still not paying enough attention... There are others within reach... If the Democrats would only fight half as hard as the Republicans.

I posted comments at the DCCC website on the Foley entry. Not only do their promises of returned calls and emails never come to fruition, but now they are deleting my comments from their blog, The Stakeholder.

Luckily the comments were cached before they axed them.

You have to go to this website address to actually see the postings because they can't be copied and pasted here.)

Thank you, so did Foley or any of these other player pages hang out with Rogers? There seems to be such a personal vindictiveness to this whole mess.

The more searching I do on this guy the weirder it gets. He post a question on Craigslist (maybe trolling for pages) and gets this answer:

Tuesday, June 14, 2005

Thank you to "Charlie" in the House office who saw this and sent it my way...

From Craigslist in DC:

20 yo intern - 20

I am intern on the hill and I see a ton of cute guys at lunch. We flirt with and sneak peaks across the cafeteria at each other but never sit down together. So I am looking for a lunch buddy (either another intern or a staffer around my age). We'll see where it goes from there. Let me know if you're up to it. B

Well, B., I know one place you might start looking. Here's a picture of the intern crowd at a Florida House Member's office and I can tell you that at least one of the men in this picture, like you, is gay. Welcome to Washington, B!
(There is a formal photo of Foley and some interns)

Brian Ross seems to be the "Dan Rather" of this caper.

Google "Brian Ross GM truck" and read the first hit (Sweetness-Light) about Ross' envolvement in the rigged GM truck crash involving planted explosives and also the attempted white wash of the history of this incident.

Ah, thanks.

I was trying to figure out why Roger/Rogers would do that (both are Republicans).

Rogers is a nut case. He BELIEVES in the Downing Street memo. A Secret memo that someone saw a copy of, copied the contents by typing it up and then destroyed the copy.

Nut cases like Rogers go around taking editors to task, like Rogers did to the Philadelphia Inquirer's Ann Gordon at the Equity Forum in Philadelphia a few months back.

Mike Rogers was just on O'Reilly, talking about the issue of "outing" supposedly gay Repubs.

I didn't catch all of it, but O'Reilly was way too easy on him. Not that that is a huge shocker.

Do people who answer their own questions instead of just *stating the information* irritate me? Of course.

I expect his next comment to be something along the lines of the Republican Leadership *owning* this problem. Because that is what really irritating people say.

Thanks. I just had to spend half an hour explaining the details of this to my daughter, who was still under the impression we were taling about boys 16 and under, rathe than college age men, and who didn't know that there were both e-mails and IM's and that they went to two different people.

THIS is the damage the media is causing, and I am wishing I would win the Powerball, because I would buy a paper and a TV station and start my own network.
