What's sickening is the senior GB is going around asking for more earthquake aid for Pakistan.
Let them eat dirt.
No, that wonderful "distinction" goes to Indonesia.
"15 and 16 year olds do make their own choices...sorry to say this sir but you are an ass."
So says you.
I have known many missionaries. Never met one's whose kids could "opt-out". They all went along with Mom and Dad to the most dangerous hell-holes on earth. Snarks' comment is quite valid. You might not agree with it but it is valid. I happen to agree. I suppose I'm an ass too.
Prayers for the family. And as to the Muslim pigs that did this, they can't get to judgment fast enough for me.
Consider yourself fired upon.
If you think that the muslim lunatics are going to be satisfied by murdering in pakastan, think again. They have promised to kill us all.
Don't let your children associate with muslims, no matter how "peacful" they seem....they are like wild animals....cuddly and friendly one second, and then reverting to their natural state the next...murderous terrorists.
Indonesia is the most populous (predominately) Muslim country on earth, but Pakistan has the most Muslims. .....and the most radicalized ones.
I am NOT going to Pakistan.
We are going to a country that is messed - up, but that has'nt taken to slaughtering Christians in the name of Jihad. I would not take my family (or myself while I still have kids to raise) on ANY missions trip to ANY mooslime country at this point.
I'm sure these two true martyrs are in heaven.
So your choices are:
Refuse to answer God's call to serve as a missionary in this particular place or
Refuse to answer God's call to parent your own children, and surrender them to someone else to raise.
I can see your point, but for the Christian, neither of the above should be an option.
"And some people still think that all religions are the same."
I hear this a lot as well....I really don't know how people can believe that.
If you're going to a place that will require you to "watch your daughter like a hawk", why are you taking her there?
Are you serious? Your kind blames the U.S. for 911.It's the killers not the parents fault !!!!
And if they go off on a mission and leave the kids behind they are guilty of child abandonment.
While I can understand where they are coming from, your post is spot on. They are blaming the victims instead of the perpetrators.
The ideology of death and destruction at work. This is how they celebrate their "holy month". What a phoney bunch of baloney.
Thank God, it wasn't the missionary couple that I know. The wife has been in Pakistan for almost 19 years and her husband grew up in Pakistan, as the son of missionaries. They and their four children are still there.
May God watch over them and protect them.
9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
religion of death!
