Yep. Only a fool believes that tolerance crap. All Muslims are guilty (or at least suspect) until they demonstrate themselves to be loyal to MY values and MY civilization.
Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Acts 10:34
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
They are in need of a smiting of Biblical proportions. In the earthly realm, carthage comes to mind.
Jesus!
Next question?
May I suggest eviscerating every Muslim who refuses to convert to Christianity. Let's get started, we've got a lot to do!
Now, I like to think of myself as a reasonable, America-loving, God-fearing person, but there are many half-truths floating about as a few posters try to make themselves feel better.
Truth: neither Christianity nor Islam contain edicts that regularly compel their followers to threaten the lives of anybody. To say this of Islam in general is dishonest and makes you look rather silly.
Truth: Both Christianity and Islam have terrorist organizations and individuals who engage in terrorist activities in the name of their respective deity or particular denomination or ideology. This does not, however, imply that either religion is bad, only that there are murderers and crazies associated with both. If you kill innocent people intentionally, you are a murderer and possibly crazy, but that does not allow a person to logically conclude that either Christians or Muslims in general condone such behavior.
As to many of the other posts, God's calling aside, it really is poor parenting to drag your children to obviously dangerous countries. This doesn't excuse the murder, obviously, but it would be challenging for the parents to rationalize what has happened since they directly put their children in a situation where such activity was possible.
I would imagine that if these children were in Pakistan, their parents knew the danger and the children did also. I doubt that the parents would go if their children were not fully on board with the decision.
While I respect your concern, the great comfort to their parents and all christians lies in the fact that they died and did not deny their faith, unlike the Fox news crew that imperiled the children's lives when they "converted." The promise of scripture is still true that they would be welcome into the bosom of their Savior. I guess there are worse fates than that.
In the end, it was the terrorists who took the lives of these young people. May God have mercy on the souls of these murderers and bring them to repentance.
I'd rather have my children alive.
Please give some examples of Christians doing this.
Pray for W and Our Troops
I believe that the Fox News crew, by their forced "conversions," have made conditions more dangerous for christians in the ME.
Martyrs made the church strong in the days of Rome...
Evil days we live in.
I understand all of the arguments pertaining to the risk posed by living in the ME. I would have a very difficult time bringing my children into a muslim country to serve. However, we should not let this shock us too much. In church history, many of the earliest martyrs were young men and women, teenagers. The died by the sword or the lion's mouth in the Coliseum. Every christian, even young ones, should pray for grace to be able to stand for one's faith even to the death. As a christian, there are worse things than dying for one's faith.
Moral equivilancy doesn't work on this forum, as a geneal rule.
:::Sigh::: This is an old line used by those who haven't actually read the bible and understand that it isn't talking about selling children into slavery. Context helps, as does going into reading it for what it says, not what one wishes it to say>
I can see from your response you have an anti-Christian bent, so of course anything you have to say on this issue is completely meaningless.
Have a nice day.
Then don't go be a missionary in a Muslim country.
That's the same as not answering God's call. God doesn't say "Hey do this whenever you feel like it." He gives us a call for a time and place to do specific things that fit with His plan. We can either be part of His plan, or we can be disobedient.
I too believe it is irresponsible parenting.
Those who put their own will ahead of God's wouldn't have any issue with what you've said. Even I can understand your point. But God doesn't do things our way on our time table. We either serve Him or we serve ourselves. These parents chose to serve Him. I would never fault them for that.
Besides, you are blaming the victim instead of the perpetrator. Would you blame a woman who was raped for walking by herself at night?
ISLAM HAS, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A RELIGION OF IGNORANCE HATRED AND BLOODSHED!
Those that believe otherwise are FOOLS!
The folks who did this, are just doing the exact the exact same thing Mohammed himself did when he was alive.
The west needs to wake up to reality.. just because its been several hundred years since the Crusades, and PC demands us to accept the Crusades were nothing more than an overzealous Pope trying to subjugate the heathens.. NOTHING is further from the truth.
The greatest failure to peace in the world, was the failure by the powers at the time to kill Mohammed and lay waste to his followers.
Islam is, was, will always be a religion of intollerance, hatred, war and ignorance... to call it a religion of peace is an abomination.
Yes, What terrorist acts have Christian extremists committed lately?
I'm certainly not saying that there are not "wacko's" on both sides, but committing terrorist acts is another story... You go much too far and now sound like Rosie....
Eric Rudolf? Please, he and all of your examples have been condemned universally by Christain leaders. Same cannot be said of Islam.
Your NALF of Tripura appears to be a Communist Army of 1500 people. How surprising.
Of course you have to throw in the White Supremist groups, now go back to your HilaryCare War Room and get some better talking points.
Your moral equivalence may work on Deadair America but not here.
