Wishful thinking. They have been working this line for about 90 days. They had a clutch of "Southern Republican Women" who were "going to vote Democrat this year". Turned out all three were Planned Parethood-Democrat activits types with only the most fleeting contact with far RINO "Use to be a Democrat" Southern Republicans. They seem to think if they just scream the lie long enough and loud enough it will become true.

Funny thing about the polling data. Gallup finally did a 48% Likely D voter-48% Likely R voter and discovered something. NONE of this magic Democrat strenth exists when you stop oversamply Dems at a ratio of "38%-D 27%-R 35% "Ind". a and actually run a SERIOUS poll.

It is all about who shows up on Election day. All this polling is just noise.

President Bush should come out and change the focus and attack the Democrats like this country depends on it. He has held his tongue long enough. ...was talking with a man in his late-70s. He led a conservative life in the past: military service, frugality, small business, much work, savings and other conservative ways. He complained recently about our President "makin' lots of enemies in the rest of the world." His wife (previously divorced) and daughter (public school teacher) dictate his thinking.

Three other local men--fond of country music, Fox News, football, each of them self-described Bush voters in the last election--have wondered aloud as to why Iran shouldn't have nuclear weapons, Iran being a "sovereign country" and all.

Education for a nation can be a hard experience, sometimes. IMO, I've had it with stupidity and ignorance of consequences. It's going to be really funny (to me) to see a Democrat President drafting a huge army with obsolete tools and tactics, too late, at a new, ever more evil axis possessing more nuclear weapons.

One way or another, our USA will be forced to grow a pair.

I'll be voting Republican at the nearest poll for the sake of principle (and to someday be laid down with a clearer conscience).
