I'm watching Bill Kristol and he sometimes seems like he's going to cry. Or morph in to Forrest Gump. Or both.

Talent coming back at her. Heh. Guess the Dems found out that Americans aren't having issues with wire surveillance, so she changes her stand.

I saw that. McCaskill isn't ready for prime time.

oh dear, Brit says "outside chance democrats will pick up the senate". Folks, I think he's best casing it. Mira Liaason says there are 8 competitive races, and it looks (to me), like we are losing in 6 of them right now.
Kristol says some of those close races are in 3 red states. He predicts Republicans in those states will vote for republican senators. YIKES! Pinning my hopes on a Kristol prediction is not comforting!!!

Santorum 38% Casey ______ higher, I missed it. Brit says this state is lost .

Ford ahead in TN.

Allen in VA dog fight says Wallace. Kristol says Allen will win 4 points ahead now.

kean 40% Menendez 44% tight Juan says, but predicts Menendez will win.

I don't think anyone in America is madder at Foley than Bob Woodward. Bob has been relegated to only one appearance today.

Don't forget that Bill Clinton was the top story before either one of these things cam along. He must have been enjoying the spotlight before this all came along.

Maybe Mr. Clinton will hit the talk show circuit and say, "Hey! Stop talking about Mark Foley and talk about me! This Foley thing is just about sex, after all!"

I actually suspect that they rushed the Foley thing out because stories were beginning to appear in more mainstream news outlets questioning what Clinton said in his meltdown with Wallace.  The Clinton war room needed to change the subject quick because they had gotten all of the good they would get from his tantrum and anything more that came out would be negative, not only for Bill but for all dims, especially Hillary.  So they moved up the timetable on the Foley thing by a couple of weeks.  Unfortunately I think it's going to backfire, big time.  There's now time to expose their machinations and make it about their sleazy politics, their politics of personal destruction and their willingness to use blackmail or to bash gays if it suits them.

I want Rahm Emanuel, Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean under oath and I want them to explain what they knew and when they knew it. Particularly about Mike Rogers blackmailing of a gay Republican Senator on the Alito vote (by implication, Chaffee, the only Republican to vote no).

Voters aren't idiots, Kristol says, they aren't going to base their vote on a creep in Florida.

You're right. And Republicans dumped the creep. We didn't applaud him or put him at the front of a parade or give him plum assignments. He was dumped. We're not creepy democrats.

Is this a Debate on MTP or a one on one interview with Talent ???

I think Russert figured out that Claire is just a hollow Dem puppet and that the best course of action for her was to shut up. IMO

McCaskill is not in a position to know that one cent of Katrina money was squandered.  None of her offices have ever had the power to obtain any evidence at either the federal level or the Louisiana level. Yet she says money was squandered.  Sounds like a heretic to me.
