Great post, I could not agree more.

As you said, this has every aspect for backfiring on Democrats as they are trying to suppress the vote.

But, no surprise. Democrats cannot agree on positions or issues. As James Taranto wrote in Best of the Web on Friday, describing their agenda, "In other words, antigay means are acceptable in the pursuit of pro-gay ends. This is a paradox of identity politics: Politics very often ends up trumping identity."

Bob Woodward's position: "Bush lies, they all lie." You won't have to pay for a meal for a long, long time, Bob.

Now its a interview from a BBC reporter on Iraq, ie. I'm not going to pretend impartiality in this case.

BBC or our MSM never report truthfully about the situation in Iraq. So, how the families of the Soldiers get the REAL truth about the situation? Here 's how:

See how David Nixon, Father of a fallen Marine, corresponds with a Real Iraqi Citizen and getting the REAL situation.

Not really what MSM is reporting, ofcourse. Please read it.

Woodward is trying to depict Vice President Cheney as someone with a foul mouth and a case of dementia

Wasn't the cooker supposed to come last week? I thought I remembered a comment about it earlier.

Do you remember the Monty Python skit about the endless queue of workers lined up to help install a new cooker for some poor sod in London? (there, that exhausts my English colloquialisms) I think that was where I first learned the "cooker" was the equivalent of our "stove." Of course, I also learned that a European stove is almost universally a very tiny thing compared to the American appliance. Same for almost everything else I came across in my one visit to Europe back in the 80s.

I guess it makes sense, though, since the average American house size is over 2,000 square feet and the average European house is under 1,000.

Yes he is, and he is trying to rehab himself, explaining why all the bad stuff that came out about his revelations maybe not being so honest is wrong. He has his prepared notes on dates and conversations with him.

Now he's trying to rehabilitate his reporting of the Tenet/Rice meeting.

I love Cheney. Especially in his private conversations, he's a guy who never leaves you wondering where you stand with him.

I know it'd be a landslide loss, but I sure wish he was electable for President.

Agreed but I think it's common knowledge by now that the media and press are aligned philosophically with the concept of the welfare state, and Democrat causes.

They are in bed together, so to speak with a straight face.

I don't think it would be a loss at all, but I think that our VP has had just about enough of the DC [Woodward's real first name]

You are more than welcome Bahbah!

Here's another little ditty I dug up earlier(just so we don't all become fixated on the Foley saga) that just makes you shake your head several times in wonderment.

Consider this found at:

http://www.opinion journal.com/columnists/pnoonan/?id=110009048

Here is what happens when a(supposed) renown journalist puts him/herself above the basics of his art. You get Bob Woodward writing "State of Denial". Peggy Noonan (another "supposed journalist" who forgot what she is really doing,)decided to take it upon herself to do a book review on Woodies POS,latest hit piece on GW.

According to Noonan Woodward "really thinks he got to the core of the Bush Adm. and uncovered all those nasty little secrets." Just one problem Peggy. Both you and Bob forgot to do when he wrote his masterhitpiece:

YOU FORGOT TO INTERVIEW GW--IDIOT!!

Gee, maybe Woodie would have gotten a slightly different picture if GW had allowed him an interview(I am personally glad he was not allowed to interview GW) But in rat land little details like interviewing the person you are writing about are totally unnecessary, its' the "feeelllings" you generate, that really count not the content or authenticity.

Those who have been in the field for longer that a day or two realize that you just don't do a book about in-depth strategy of a political adm. without interviewing the head of the administration. That's not even journalism 101, its before that!

Hopefully Woodward has a good saddle for the huge bull shark he is now riding, but my guess it is it won't take long for him to fall off and be eaten.

Susan Estrich gave Ann Coulter her new book - "Soulless: Ann Coulter".

Ann should have said (on camera) "Thank you.  This means so much coming from a rape victim who turned into a rape enabler." and walked away.

What?  Someone would have called Ann mean after getting a book with that title from her?

For Cheney to use profanity is news. Had this been Hillary or Kerry or other Democrats it would not be news because they talk that way all the time.
