Need help from Washington State Freepers--VANITY
Self

Posted on 10/06/2006 8:25:31 PM PDT by GeorgiaBushie

Georgia resident looking for help in the Washington area.

My brother is in the hospital, he was just diagnosed with lymphoma and has congestive heart failure possibly connected to the lymphoma. The hospital is in Kirkland Washington and I am leaving very soon to be with him during this frightening time. He has no other family in the area and I do not know how to contact his friends for help with travel around the area.

I have never been to Washington and would be delighted at any Freeper help on the availablility and desirablilty of public transportation from the airport to Kirkland and to his home (will need me to take care of a few things/pets) in Redmond Washington.

Just basically would like to know which public transport would be best and safest to use from the Airport to Kirkland and then from Kirkland to Redmond.

I could rent a car, but was hoping not to as I am just going to be mainly sitting at a hospital.

Thank you for the prayers! I told Rusty that I had posted online for help with transportation and of all the wonderful Washington State people that I had met.

He's a really wonderful and kindhearted person that makes friends with people and nature, he is a rescuer of sorts.

Thanks again for the prayers, Brenda.

Thanks for giving us a run down of your trip, Brenda. Wish your brother and you all the best and know how difficult it has to be being so far apart.

Thank you for your kind thoughts.

After learning that Washington State offers the beaches, beautiful lakes, mountains and the desert--all within a relatively close proximity, I can finally understand why he moved so far away. Washington State is beautiful.
