It seems easier to pull comedians/comedy writers to our side, because you can't be a true liberal if you're in possession of a sense of humor. Other than "Bush is stupid," of course, cuz that uproariously funny joke never gets old!
There aren't very many and, frankly, given the way the Democrats have been treating Jews and Israel lately, there aren't enough.

I agree with that. I don't know how any Jewish person who believes Israel should be a state, and not just some wishful "state of mind," can possibly vote for the dems.

On the first FReep we held after 9/11, I was the only gentile, until ElectricStrawberry showed up. There have been some some discrimination in the US, class stuff, but this country has been the only one that has never persecuted the Jews, I am kinda proud of that.
That's on my Top Twenty list for comedy. A hilarious film.
