Further unraveling of the Foley case (Pelosi alert!)

Early this morning on JOM we went through the cached page blog and noticed something interesting. The cached pages we examined indicate that the mother of one of the pages, Robin Katsoros, mother of Christopher Katsoros a former Pelosi page, told the pages she was working on a screen production of the lives of pages. And she gathered information from them. She is a Conyers and Kerry supporter and he is a student at Georgetown now. It looks like the kids were trying to “sex” up their experiences to get her interested. Here are some bits of it. JOM has information on how we worked this out.

Cue Google Input: Over on the July 19, 2005 Randi Rhodes message board there’s this:

I doubt that too many 21 years olds can pay for the services of someone like Jones or would even know how to get hooked up with him in the first place.........

Somebody's footing the bill, and I doubt it's the kid. Criminal defense lawyers rates are very high, because there's more than just money at stake; there's often liberty as well. Often plaintiffs' lawyers will take tort cases "on contingency," that is, for a percentage of the damages awarded to the plaintiff, but nothing like that appears to be at issue here, so someone's fronting the money.

Good find!! Not only was Jordan Edmund VERY active on this site, he posted around 10% (9.85% to be exact) of ALL postings on this site, according to the profile for him:

This is very suggestive -- Jordan Edmund appears to be one of the main movers & shakers for the page organization, because he's posted the end-of-year "Farewell Address" given on the House floor and semi-official welcoming info about the page dorm, etc.

He appears to be not merely one of numerous pages but quite possibly in some official role as an officer of an organization or a committee chair, etc.

Most organizations I've known wouldn't have just any random person posting things like the official check-in details for the dorm, etc.

The attorney was on the case in the matter of just a few hours which IMO also makes me think the frontman is someone high powered with big bucks whose worried the plot isn't going the way it was intended.

Not only is Jordan Edmund obviously some kind of editor or officer for the page alumni group (or at least he was in June 2003) but he was in a position to receive submissions (see 2nd item below where he thanks a Timothy Gorman '02 for submitting the item) and and make changes in their website/newsletter (see first item below where he announces a new section on the website that HE has created for submissions).

Why does this matter? Because it indicates very clearly that Jordan Edmund was not some random page, he was/is someone in a position to be in contact with all of the current and former pages...... that doesn't mean he knows all the former pages, of course, but it does suggest that he is at the center of the network and not merely some minor figure that none of them know.....

Overloaded Elevators

On The Hill All Fomer Pages will remember the times that they would all pile into an elevator until 30+ Pages were crammed in, way beyond the maximum capacity of the elevator. Turns out the members tried to beat us, click read more to see what happened.

Turns out that 14 Members tried to show us up, the 15 total occupants were stranded in an elevator in Rayburn for 35 minutes because they exceded the maximum capacity. Click here to read the full story on the Drudge Report.

Take note: anything linked to the Alumni server will not work. it's been shut down. BUT, if you feed the addy to wayback, you just may get a hit which will lead to something better.

Your excellent post bears repeating, for Jordan Edmund, whether or not he really considers himself a Republican, was in Internet contact with EVERYONE associated with the "House Page Alumni Assn." (including 'Rat operatives such as the son of Robin Katsoros, mother of Christopher Katsoros, both left-wing 'Rat operatives well acquainted with NANCY PELOSI).
