This might be more important in east Asia than Foleygate, but in America Foleygate will rule until first week of Nov. Since N Kor has had nukes for a decade, the test is merely an occasion for joining the community of the world by announcing the test. It is nothing but participating in polite society. Sign them up and invite them for brunch next Thursday.

MORE Important Than Foley]Now I know you're kidding! Nothing is more important than girl-talk, even when voiced by men.

I don't understand the big deal if they test a nuke, I test out various pistols and rifles on a regular basis, that doesn't mean my neighbor better be ready to retaliate or preemptively shoot me just in case.
Can anyone explain how testing something spells trouble.

Have things gotten so bad for Kim Jong-il that this is his only way to get anyone to pay attention to him outside of North Korea?

How about a pool on which days (in the next two weeks) they pop the cork.
We could have side bets on whether or not it fizzles and another pool on how long it takes Japan to have a deliverable nuke after the test (I'll take 6 months).

My fearless prediction: (remember you heard it here, first)
li'l Kim lights a nuke. He and the Bush admin will let loose with enough bluster to make all the jihadis in Mohammadom green with envy. Kim will go MIA for a few months, Americans maintain status quo and wait for the next sex scandal to pop up.
