It's shocking, actually. You'd think that ABC and NBC would have learned
something after what we did to Dan Rather and CBS; but they didn't, I guess.
As far as the damned Dems are concerned, they NEVER learn. And this has energized the GOP base, no matter what FR's contingent of doom&gloom/CUT&RUN crepe hangers keep posting.

ABC may be off on their story but I saw an interesting interview with a former page a few minutes ago Seems the South East one. I'm not gonna mention any names because the Looney Squad will start a track him down and smear him campaign. His description seemed honest. He was approached so it seems by Foley via IM which Foley should not have had access to nor does he know how he got it. Foley only used the IM name common to all the IM's and refused to ID himself even as to what sex he was.. This went on for 3-4 weeks.
It started 2-3 months after his duty page term in DC was over and he returned home to his town. Foley he said did make indecent remarks to him of a sexual nature. Foley mentioned looking him over while he was working in the Capitol. That's about all I got copied. The man now about 26 I'd guess seemed honest about it.
That should be enough though to hang the sorry excuse for a man and no he is not acts that can be defended except by liberals. He does not deserve a return to congress as some are calling for either. If he used his authority to get private information such as E-mails and IM's that is another reason his sorry hide needed to go. He can take Frank, Studds, and the rest with him.

Yes, but he's nowhere near being the "pedophile" that the media has been screaming about.If you believe his lawyer anyway. I'll wait and see what the investigations (finally) bring forward. Most homosexuals have sexual relations with underage "victims." Time will tell if Foley was all talk and keyboard or acted upon his fantasies.
Unfortunately the political fallout will have a more lasting impact including in the House, Senate, and ultimately upon the Supreme Court and potential nominees during the last two years of Bush 43.
Thank you Hastert, Blunt, and pevert Foley.

This means ABC did not verify information before it ran the story I believe they did.
I believe they knew. They just thought they could mix up the emails and the IM's and throw in that someone was underage without telling who.

Now that ABC has been caught telling a lie about this cobbled together scandal, they will be forced to reveal just how this "story" found its way to Brian Ross. They have no choice other than to "stonewall", which won't work in the Internet age. What will now come out about this story will include the "whos" and "whens" of what has gone on.
I'm guessing the Dems and ABC will be very sorry they tried to sell this cow pie as a truffle.
BTW, I call for the immediate resignation of Brian Ross and Charlie Gibson.
