Now that that is out of the way I will reveal how I (and a few others) discovered Jordan Edmund was one of the former house pages that participated in sexually explicit instant messages with Rep. Mark Foley. Also I will explain to you why I believe it necessary to reveal Jordan Edmund's identity. You may not agree with my decision, but I hope to explain my reasoning by the end of this story.

...as i understand this mess...

Foley interacts with a this young man in e-mail an IM.
The e-mails are given to Hstert and the FBI years ago. The FBI claims nothing illegal in e-mails and Hastert follows the same line saying no harm done.

Last Friday, out of the blue, these IMs surface.
We are told by the MSM that the IMs were exchanged while the paige as a minor, therefore predatory. At the same time, Monika and Studds' actions are "different" because they didn't include minors. Though Studds' actions were with a 17 yo, and 16 years of age is considered the age of consent, so still no foul...after all "its just about sex" and folks are entitled to privacy donchaknow.

Now it is determined that the IMs were exchanged in April of 2003 and that the paige turned 18 in Feb '03. Also detemined that the IMs were saved by someone (?)...but who? Foley?...doubtful...someone's computer was hacked?...doubtful...the paige saved them to be used at a later date?...most probable. Also turns out that the paige is a bawny fwank sympathizer...go figger.

So, we have the MSM complicit in a smear campaign agains the party in power based upon wrong information that appears to be a set-up for years and conveniently timed as an "October Surprise" to discourage the conservative vote next month.

note...Foley is still a creep though...as is BJklintoon...as is Bawny Fwank...no difference in debauchery in eaither case. But isn't it interesting that the libs like to claim that e-mails shouldn't be spied upon for terrrorists..."right o privacy" donchaknow, but these e-mails are fair game. Klintoon was a private matter, but this Foley situation is fair game. Gay bashing is verboten, unless it is a conservative that is being bashed. Sex with subordinates is absolutely an outrage, unless of course you're a liberal.

Hypocracy, lies and bearing false witness is rampant in all of this. MSM, (abc this time) media scam all over this!

Victoria, you have been consistently well ahead of the curve on this issue. You are 100% right - there is a deliberate confusion between the creepy but not particularly damning emails and the much more extreme Instant Messages.

The liberal media is just trying to control the narrative and make it damning for the GOP. Will they continue to overplay their hand?

My gut says 'yes.' Or maybe I'm just hungry. :-)

As someone who couldn't care less who is sleeping with or seducing whom), I'm gonna go out on a limb here. If the "object of affection" was a consenting adult of 18 at the time and was a willing participant (which he appears to be, given he responded and didn't block Foley), then...

Can we please quit calling Foley a pedophilic scumbag? That's just downright homophobic and insulting to the gay community.

It's also insulting to reason and common sense. For instance, the "hang-em-high" rhetoric - even when it is pointed out that the person in question might have been 18, then the objection is raised - "But he was only 18 for 2 months!" "He was *almost* seventeen!" (Not to mention that the age of consent in many jurisdictions is 16, not 18 anyway. But "underage" is being used synonymously with "beneath the AOC." Shows you how influential the MSM really is.)

For that matter, how do we even know that the person *supposed to be* Foley actually is? How many people in their fifties are really able to get "chatroom lingo" down like that? I've said it on other threads, I'll say it again - it is very easy to fake IM transcripts - they're simply HTML files. The sad thing is that if this *is* another "TypewriterGate," it's one that many Republicans are willing to believe as well.

I don't use AIM, I use MSN Messenger and their chat logs are located at:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\ChatLogs\YourScreenName\history\ScreenNameOfPersonYourTalkingTo  and it's a simple XML file.  My logs go back to 1999 simply because I haven't taken the time to go out and delete them, or found a reason to delete them, but this Jordan probably has the same computer he had in 2003 and his logs are still on his hard drive.  The question is who got into his computer, when did they do it and why did they do it.  If it was Jordan that gave them to ABC you'd think he would be bright enough to remove his screen name himself before turning them over.

Something that bothers me is how the same democrats that defended BJ Clinton and claimed that oral sex was not sex, are now screetching that typed words are not only SEX but Pedophelia. The hypocrisy is staggering.

Ernest Istook is running for Oklahoma Governor and is currently a Congressman. His campaign has not been able to get off the ground and is behind by a large number of points.

I for one am NOT going to bash you for making these points. Somebody needs to cut through the pea soup of rhetoric here.

It's ominous that Istook's campaign is doing badly, with these current revelations.

Actually, it was posted here last night that Jordan Edmund's Congressional "sponsor" was indeed Randy "Duke" Cunningham..... Edmund is from San Diego and goes to college at Beserkley, from what I've read.....

Of course, who knows what info can be trusted on this sordid mess, but I do recall seeing a post with a link that showed the page program info on Jordan Edmund.

He seems like an obvious "mole" for the 'Rats ....

I was referring to their (ABC's) possible reason, including their view of conservatives as pitch-fork armed buck-toothed villages, endlessly searching for gays to lynch and such... Most of my friends are moonbats, and they think Christians/Republicans are any minute going to ship libs off to concentration camps.
