His not Greek and what they are implying is just that he is a native of the town Greece located in the State of New York in the United States of America. ;)

The town changed its name back in the 1822 from Northampton to Greece to show its support of Greece's(the country that is)struggle for independence from Turkey.

I grew up in Greece, NY, and I cannot answer that question. As I recall, we called ourselves "Rochesterians" because we were adjacent to Rochester. I can tell you that the local high schools are named Arcadia, Olympia and Athena. (No joke.) Other than that, Greece is just like the rest of upstate NY, that is, buried in snow 6 months of the year.

Matt, your town took on Greece and Greek names in the early 1800's to show their support for the Greek struggle during Greece's fight for independance from the Ottoman Empire. Just an FYI. ;)

Thus I don't see this as such a big deal especially with Drudge reporting the intern was 17 and 18 years old when he exchanged IMs and emails with Foley. At 17 you have to handle yourself in this world. You have to learn how to deal with Mark Foley who is far away on another computer. Not in the same room forcing sex on you."

Not a big deal? No matter what such behavior with interns is NOT acceptable. Would people think it not a big deal if it was a 17 year old female? Not to mention that with his careless actions he compromised votes for his party. And you are wrong about a 17 year old kid knowing how to handle himself particularly when he is just starting to learn how to take care of himself. No matter what his age he is still a kid who would be intimidated by someone like Foley and the powerful position he holds.

Anytime and you have every reason to be paranoid with everything that is going no lately. Heck I even fall under that category. LoL!! As my buddy longtermmemmory though mentioned Foley wouldn't last very long in Greece. ;-)

Yeah well the FBI obviously thinks otherwise and from what is being reported today Foley might have IM'd a 16 year old in a sexual manner and under current law, you don't need physical contact to know that is a crime.

Also as far as the 17 year old is concerned last time I checked sending sexually material to interns and people you work with can get you fired without any physical acts involved and given this person holds such a position in the government... as I said before its nothing to yawn about.

Even if he wins reelection, Tom Reynolds has proven he's unfit to be Chariman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. Indeed, it's unclear that he could manage a McDonalds without messing up.
