Thus I don't see this as such a big deal especially with Drudge reporting the intern was 17 and 18 years old when he exchanged IMs and emails with Foley. At 17 you have to handle yourself in this world. You have to learn how to deal with Mark Foley who is far away on another computer. Not in the same room forcing sex on you."

Not a big deal? No matter what such behavior with interns is NOT acceptable. Would people think it not a big deal if it was a 17 year old female? Not to mention that with his careless actions he compromised votes for his party. And you are wrong about a 17 year old kid knowing how to handle himself particularly when he is just starting to learn how to take care of himself. No matter what his age he is still a kid who would be intimidated by someone like Foley and the powerful position he holds.

There is (was) no sex in this so called sex scandal. Kids and teenagers all over the world suffer from real sexual assaults. I'll worry about them. This stuff makes me yawn.
