Yes, he has come out of the closet.

I think it's ridiculous to suggest that because people thought he was gay they somehow should have known that he was going to go after a page. Interest in teenagers and interest in homosexuality are two different things. Yes, sometimes people have both, but the same occurs with heterosexuals. Point is: If you don't think someone who is gay should be in Congress, then that's your right, but it's a bit over the top to suggest that people should have known that he was going to try and seduce minors simply because he's a homosexual..

This is really getting tiresome.

It is always just before the election that democrats dump some non-scandal to inflame voters JUST LONG ENOUGH to shift the election and then say "oops never mind" after the damage is done.

The democrats count on the delay of the news cycle. This is why they dump scandals after 3pm on friday.

Perhaps Rush should do a fourth hour on saturday and/or sunday until the election.

Exactly and why we are having trouble getting good candidates to run. Who would want to put up with the sleeze, half truths, and outright lies that are used by the Dims to get elected. A few Republicans fall in that same category when they use push polls IMO.

You still don't get it.

"99.9999% of the GOP could be gay and I would care less.

This is not about being gay this is about the future of country and I have always believed that. And there is NO way I am ever going to vote for a demonrat."

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!

So youre saying the GOP should have an offical policy of excluding gays who might want lower taxes and strong national defense....youre the type of bigot whose vote the left is trying to depress on election day

Maybe a good time to clean house and get some Conservatives with REAL family values. Go ahead and out them and lets see what a majority of voters for individual district really want. Family values and being gay is inconsistent.

Correct and isn't against the law to discriminate against homosexuals including "suspected" homosexuals?

According to gay activists, no one who has homosexual proclivities is allowed to diverge from the gay activist agenda or ideology.

Yes, it is. So if a qualified applicant for a staff position were eliminated because he or she was gay, that would be a voilation of federal law.

I am continually amazed at the hysteria here by people who are supposedly conservatives. A little bit of rational thinking would be welcome, to say the least.

The senator in question would be our least favorite senior senator from south carolina....

Rogers has made clear that it's someone who is married. I believe that rules out Graham.

He has also said that he is working with a PR expert to maximumize adverse impact on the election. Since Graham isn't up for re-election, again, sounds like we can rule him out.

Again with the FBI file nonsense and urban legend

There were something like 900 FBI files, funny how everyone in America seems to have had an FBI file on Hillary's desk, from the CEO of ABC to Foley.

Truth is those FBI files were of memebers of both the Reagan and Bush 41 administrations and appointees. I highly doubt they were files on people who werent even elected to Congress in 1993

We can rule Graham out for getting outed this election cycle, unless he become colateral damage.

I'm doubting it is Chafee because that would only help him in Rhode Island.

I remember a time when it was thought that Gays should not serve in gov't because of the posssibility that they could be subject to extortion. I think that the Democrats are trying to prove that point. It's time for any Gay Republicans to drop the don't ask, don't tell and come forward. It's really a shame that the Democrats feel that sexuality is a public issue. I guess any gay Republicans who admit that they are homosexual or bisexual, should also state that they are not pedophiles, like Foley.
