WHY were Foley's "Over-Friendly" E-mails sent YEARS AFTER the sex-filled Instant Messages??? It makes NO sense.
Here is a scenario.
Maybe the sex-filled IM's were from a sting operation years ago and since Foley never acted on them they were kept under wraps. Then when he sent an "overly friendly" e-mail to a page and was just reprimanded to never do that again, and not made to resign, the Dems decided to bring out the smoking gun IM's just before the election.
They know even if Foley had never done a thing to act on any of these IM's the repercussions will be horrendous for the Republicans.
Yeah, I've been wondering if it is known that all of these missives are authentic?
There's obviously a problem or Foley wouldn't have resigned, but as noted the tone is so different.
It would seem pretty easy to fake both emails and IMs, but closer scrutiny should be able to determine their validity.
Are you implying he didn't send the IMs? He did, and has admitted to it. BTW, where do you get that the E-mails were sent "years after"?
