I had a vmail message on my answering machine when I arrived home. I'm sitting here doing a little work and listening to Mark Levin. Other people from vaqrious states are calling in mentioning these calls. I did a search on FR and found a couple of articles - also checked into their web site.
Mark said that Mike Lux, the president of this group, worked on the Clinton-Gore campaign in '92 and was on their transition team. He also worked in the WH in 93-95 as a special advisor to Bubba.
Mark just mentioned that the group behind this group is emergingdemocraticmajority.com (a Klintoon group)
Time to circle the wagons!

american family voices ^ | dfu American Family Voices has quickly swung into action over the Foley affair. ---http://americanfamilyvoices.org/ --- They are making calls to registered Republicans around the country urging them to call their congressman, demand an investigation, demand resignations, and demand that we have new leadership. Here is AFV's board of directors: ---http://www.americanfamilyvoices.org/a --- Mike Lux is also the founder of Progressive Strategies LLC, the overall company behind this effort. --- http://www.progressivestrategies.net --- Lux was also on the board of People for the American Way. I called my congressman, David Dreier, and they have already received many nasty calls. Undoubtedly, those are from the...

You need to get that audio online for us.
Do you still have the audio?
The American people recall how the Republicans overplayed the Clinton scandals; they're seeing the Dems do it now.
I had someone call me last night...and I hung up on them before they got into their spiel...but, I can't be sure if it is the same group...
Ping a lingie
One can tell by looking at their web site - they aren't supporting any Pubbie issues!

TAKE ACTION TODAY!
Sign One of Our Petitions Demanding Action from Congress:
Demand that Leaders who Participated in this Outrageous Cover-Up on Capitol Hill Resign American families are shocked and disgusted that Congressional Republican leadership covered up for a child sexual predator in their midst rather than confronting the problem directly. There is evidence that leaders on Capitol Hill have known about the questionable emails for months, yet nothing was ever done to stop Foley's appalling activities. It is time for any member of Congress who has participated in this cover-up to resign immediately.
They are everwhere, a bunch of Marxists who have been doing this since 2000 and have a new agenda each election cycle. They are working for Hillary right now.

You can upload it here for free and link to it, if it isn't too big:
I don't have it, and, I erased the message (I've had them before and they tick me off). I'll save the next one - maybe holdonnow can get it.
Here is an interesting article on American Family Voiceshttp://www.nationalreview.com/york/york071202.asp

I can't even tell you what the caller ID would have said about the call last night...because I was talking to my daughter and the call-waiting beeped...so, no caller ID.
All I know is, someone said my name, asked me if it was me...and then started in on what did I know about Foley and Hastert and what was my opinion...
I hung up then...
D'oh!
Are you in the WA 8th? I'm pretty sure they're targeting Repub districts.
[I'm in Baghdad Jim McDumbass territory - they ain't gonna call me...]
It's very similar to the message on their Web site, except it says to call you representatives in Congress.
BTW - I just went to the emerging dem maj web site (now I feel like I need to take a shower) and found the below. Donkey Rising - how clever (not). Stan Greenberg is involved in this. He is married to DeLauro (sp) the rep from NY and his daughter was mentioned on a thread this weekend - I think it was the Sunday thread. See also the post below re GOP Meltdown, which includes the following:
"Chris Bowers does a particularly good job of rolling out the GOP debacle in his recent posts "Democratic breeze Blowing in the Senate" and "Total Republican Collapse Imminent."
A Message from Ruy Teixeira:
A number of months ago I began working with leading Democratic pollster Stan Greenberg and influential political scientist William Galston on plans for a new online magazine called The Democratic Strategist. We envisioned this publication as a forum and meeting ground for Democrats from every sector of the Democratic community and a place where the latest research in social science and public opinion could be applied to the design of Democratic political strategy.
Im extremely pleased to announce that the first issue of The Democratic Strategist is now available. The magazine includes articles by leading Democratic strategists, an innovative roundtable conference system and a weblog called The Daily Strategist.
In the coming weeks content from Donkey Rising is going to increasingly be cross-posted and ultimately merge with content from The Daily Strategist, leading to a more robust discussion with new participants and more frequent postings.

Will GOP Meltdown Give Dems Senate Majority?
What seemed unlikely a couple of weeks ago is now a very strong possibility -- a Democratic takeover of the U.S. Senate. As a result of the Foley cover-up, it is not hard to imagine droves of disgusted evangelicals staying home on November 7, and a healthy chunk of those who don't stay at home now deciding to vote Democratic. Indeed, the GOP leadership's internal rot is so redolent that many non-evangelical conservatives may do likewise.
You can read about it just about anywhere. But MyDD's Chris Bowers does a particularly good job of rolling out the GOP debacle in his recent posts "Democratic breeze Blowing in the Senate" and "Total Republican Collapse Imminent."
Dems can expect a desperate GOP counter-attack to deflect media attention any time now. Should be a wild ride.

Yep - Issaquah. Wondering if they're targeting registered Pubbies?
EXACTLY! Normal Americans don't get as excited about these political scandals as do the buffoons up on Capitol Hill and the morons in the "media."
I wonder if they mean leaders like PELOSI?
Of course not!
I got one tonight also. Hung up on them.
