Works for me. He may be getting a bum wrap (of sorts), but then even if what he says is true, a broader investigation should have turned up the most incriminating evidence.

This whole thing makes my skin crawl. That's not to say that the liberals have ANY room to talk. They seek to corrupt kids 24/7.

Frist is an asshat of the first order. An empty suit who thinks because he is a doctor, he is an authority on every subject known to mankind.

I really could care less about the Foley situation. Although it is further evidence that they had their heads in the sand. I mean you'd have to be an idiot not to think the guy wasn't a pedophile.

All I can is good riddance to bad rubbish. When Mike Pence becomes House Speaker and John Cornyn Senate majority leader then I'll start actively supporting Pubbies again.

Barney Frank should go first.

With all the dee-bags in Washington, the Washington Times goes after Hastert.

More "Democrats are worse!" BS. Corrupt Republicans are just as bad and need to get the heave-ho. I don't care if they do got the magical R after their name.

More baseless-claims-of-corruption BS from the media and -- you.

The Times is right. That fat cat can't even look a camera in the eye, much less a person. He has been a disaster as speaker.

There is clearly a double-standard here in the way this is being handled by the Dems when Barney Frank, Gary Stubbs and Louis Stokes (fondling Peace Corps worker = sexual assault) among others were given a pass. Having said all of this, if Hastert covered this up or even ignored it (as my Catholic Church did with the pedophile priests) then he has got to go. I've never been a big fan of Dennis Hastert. He's a big Washington insider who never seemed to do much for the party. The go along to get along attitude is the worst thing for a party that needs to stand up and take strong positions... and expose the Socialist Dems for the frauds they are. In this regard, he is just about as effective as John McLame.

Alas, the kids quoted as saying they were warned about Foley have all recanted. Nobody warned anybody about Foley.

It's OK, liberals don't read the Times.

Probably. Don't confound the Times with the Post. Different papers. Different positions.

I am not confusing them and I do not remember them calling for Jefferson's resignation.

And you can do so much better?

LOL! It's quite funny watching the keyboard and journalist commandos pontificate.

So the conservatives want Hastert to resign because Foley sent "dirty" emails to some kid. Not only that but Foley supposedly used Instant Messenger to talk dirty. Wow! I wonder if he also used the "n" word in 1970.

Keep in mind that the WT's HR director was just busted for something similar. Could be that their call for Hassert's resig is just cover and recovery.

Until then you'll support Democrats particularly those who promise to impose mandatory same-sex marriage on America, and have first graders put condoms on bananas while chanting a mantra in praise of homosexuality.

I think you'd best reconsider.
