"Amen." (Mary)
"If you ever finally understand, it will be a miracle.'
Oh, I understand it. It's the taking of it seriously that passes me by.
That said, I do believe in miracles. Most of the time, the evidence to prove that a miracle has occurred, isn't conclusive enough. And thus, belief in them is a matter of faith.
I agree with your opinion.
I love that picture. Thank you for posting it!
May God bless you and your family with His peace.
And Brian Mulroney.
Yep, another one.
I actually give some credit to Mitterand, too, for a generally pro-NATO, anti-Soviet foreign policy.
"God bless him .. and I do believe it was a miracle of Our Blessed Lady, to whom he was such a loving, loyal and devoted son."
Yes, and in one of his books, can't remember which one, he notes that and that that event is what made him such a devoted son to Mary. I believe he attributed her intervention and prayer as what made it a miracle that he survived.

LOL! Well done.
Sucks to be you, then. Very glad I'm me.
In the Lord's Prayer, the prayer that Jesus Himself teaches us in Matthew 6, there is the line:
"Thy will be done
On Earth, as it is in Heaven"
God's will on Earth isn't a lead-pipe cinch. We have free will, and Satan has a hand in what goes on down here on Earth as well.
We pray, specifically, that God's will be done, but that doesn't mean God's will ALWAYS gets done.
In Heaven it does, on Earth its not a given.
God gave His Son for us, and we either accept that gift, or we don't.
God wants us to love Him because we want to. You don't get love at the point of a gun.
Unless of course, you are a Fox News reporter taken hostage by Muslims, at which point your love of Allah can be had by making you choose between death and conversion.
As such, there's a difference.
And here I've always thought you were an iconoclast. Too bad.
ah, duly noted, thanks!
see, i always thought that it seemed a little "uncited" if you know what i mean...but i didnt want to express that doubt here on FR, as many people take some things like that personally. lol.
Intersting that you would take a theological discussion about Christian tenets and turn into a compare and contrast of dogma between Christianity and Islam. I don't disagree with what you have stated, just don't see the point in this discussion.
He said it right after he did it. I'll see if I can find some links for you.
You sure you didn't end up on the Timecube.com site? That one is completely off the charts. The guy is a hopeless racist, and that's about the only understandable part about the mess he created.
These Fundie sites can get pretty weird, esp anything to do with Jack Chick. No doubt the folks there must have gnashed their teeth in frustration when the Pope lived.
God bless John Paul II, for letting him finish his duty here on earth.
Just something that dawned on me while I was explaining it to you.
Your question was a variation of "Why do bad things happen to good people?"

Agca was a member of the Grey Wolves, decribed for years as a neo-fascist group, their ties to islam never mentioned. Today we know them as islamofascists.
