Here's an excerpt from the original post:
And one more point that our dimwitted lefty friends cant seem to wrap their miniscule brains around; the incident that was brought to the attention of the Page Board is unconnected to any of the raunchy, sick emails ABC news got from, as Clarice informs us, CREW.
Seems CREW has some explaining to do.
UPDATE III: CREW is a George Soros funded organization, but there is more:
From 1995 to 1998, CREWs Melanie Sloan served as minority counsel for the House Judiciary Committee under Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.). Before that, Sloan served as the nominations counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee under Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.).
According to GOP research, Mark Penn, who had been a pollster for President Clinton, and Daniel Berger, a major Democratic donor, are on CREWs board. Spokeswoman Naomi Seligman declined several requests to reveal the membership of CREWs board, although she confirmed that Penn and Berger are members. Last year, Berger made a $100,000 contribution to America Coming Together (ACT), a 527 group that was dedicated to defeating Bush in the presidential election, according to politicalmoneyline.com, a website that tracks fundraising.
So we have a person who served under Clinton, and Rep. Inpeachment Conyers, who just happened to obtain emails and chats and holding them to just six weeks out of a midterm election where IF Democrats gain control of Congress, said Rep. Conyers has promised to impeach President Bush. More here.
Right. CREW was also instrumental behind the get Delay effort. More on CREW here. By Sloans admission, when she came on board at CREW her mission (before anything was known) was to get Tom Delay.
However, if CREW did indeed withhold evidence against Rep. Foley, for any length of time, they may have stepped over the line. In any case, I think they are going to have some explaining to do.
The net widens and it's not just Republican's who somehow knew about the emails.

FYI ping
Curiouser and curiouser....I was just at Gateway Pundit where they show the 2 e-mails...and you can tell they aren't the "same" even though they are supposed to be...
I can't believe Soros and gang is stupid enough to think they can get faked memos, e-mails, letters or anything by the pajamamedia again!!
and the plot thickens.....lol
Assuming both parties were in Florida, then it's handled by Florida law, but these communications more than likely crossed borders, which puts it in the hands of federal agencies, which in fact it is.
Every one knew that Foley is gay. I haven't read the IM's, but I think that we would need some proof before, IMs can be taken for real evidence. It would be extremely unusual to save the IM communications and the whole thing is just too convenient.
Hastert is calling for an investigation into when the Democrats were made aware of the information (also, when CREW was made aware, and if they withheld information for political purposes, that could have led to abuse of under age victims.
There is much speculation that this could be another case like the Bush National Guard documents, but a lot more difficult to disprove because of the use of instant messaging.
The question I have is from WHOM did ABC get the text of the IMs?
They did not know about these explicit IMs until just recently. The previous messages were e-mails sent to a FORMER page, after the young man had left his post with Congress. Apparently they were NOT of a sexual nature, they were just annoying to the young man, and he told the Congressional Republican leaders so they would make Foley stop sending them.
From what I've been able to gather, Republican leaders stepped in immediately when they were made aware of the more explicit IMs. The Republican leaders in Congress are not at fault here, only Mark Foley.
I think so
This is BIG........at least, IMHO......
Thanks for the ping!
This goes directly to the comments page itself from your link.
I wish the Republicans would mention that the Democrats knew about the sexual content of the IM's for a long time and did NOTHING to protect the page(s), preferring instead to wait until just before the election.
So much for the DNC's mantra "it's all about the children".
They can't without hard evidence .. that is why Hassert asked the FBI to investigation
Yep.
I thought I'd heard that there was proof that the Dems knew about this some time ago, but maybe I misunderstood. I haven't really been able to pay much attention.
