A new recruiting video by the emir of al-Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, brags of the loss of 4,000 foreign fighters in Iraq. He assures budding martyrs their ardent wish for death in righteous battle will be achieved.
A U.N. report claims al-Qaedas foreign fighters want to kill Americans and dont like being told to martyr themselves in suicide attacks on other Muslims. Al-Qaeda in Iraq has recruiting problems. Allah be praised!
Also in the news last week, poll results from a University of Maryland public policy institute found that 94 percent of Iraqis hate al-Qaeda.
Two-thirds of Iraqis believe Iraq will still be one country in five years. Iraqi confidence in the U.S.-backed Iraqi forces is rising. Apparently, Americas unwelcome presence is producing results.

The Cut and Runners should be ashamed of themselves for thinking the Iraqi's do not deserve to be free of these barbarians.

Democrats lack intestinal fortitude. If results don't happen NOW, they believe any endeavor a failure. Witness their jumping from program to program over the past decades to solve every problem, and their belief that not beginning new programs every year is a cause for concern.
The Dems are teaching the American people to demand results NOW NOW NOW!!!! and if they don't get them, to retreat from the problem at hand, whatever the problem. It's not a party for anyone over the age of 18 who behaves like someone over the age of 12.

Like they did with Sadr's bloc in the last election.

It sounds like al-Qaeda has a bigger fan club down at the DNC and in Hollyweird than they have in Iraq.

I am quite sure they would not do that again. Elections are often about the lesser of evils and they must have believe Al-Sadr was that but life of the streets has taught them otherwise.

Seems to me the one thing we can count on with Islamics is that they hate the other, no matter what the other is.

I think the US turned the bend in September when the Sunni tribes in Anbar province decided to unite to help the Iraqi government fight AQ. In return the Iraqi government and US can start civic projects to consolidate Iraqi control of province and free up US forces to concentrate on the last front of this war - Baghdad and surrounding suburbs to quell the sectarian fighting between Sunni and Shiite death squads.
