ARTICLE SNIPPET: "A former air traffic controller accused of planting homemade bombs in March outside the Grand Junction homes of four co-workers and a Federal Aviation Administration official pleaded guilty Friday to a single count that could land him in prison for 20 years.
Robert Burke, 54, who was arrested in Utah in April, was indicted May 2 by a federal grand jury on a host of charges. Instead, he agreed to plead guilty to a charge of malicious damage to a building used in interstate commerce."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The 2012 London Olympics have been plunged into controversy by the discovery that the Games will clash with Ramadan, the most holy month in the Islamic calendar.
The clash will put Muslim athletes at a disadvantage as they will be expected to fast from sunrise to sunset for the entire duration of the Games.
In 2012, Ramadan will take place from July 21 to August 20, while the Olympics run from July 27 to August 12.
An anticipated 3,000 Muslim competitors are expected to be affected.
About a quarter of the 11,099 athletes who took part in the 2004 Athens Olympics came from countries with predominantly Muslim populations.
Because the Muslim calendar is based on a lunar cycle, the ninth month of Ramadan - which runs from the appearance of one new crescent moon to the next - gets earlier by around 11 days each year."

United States Attorney Stephen J. Murphy announced today that twenty two Metropolitan Detroit area residents were charged in three separate indictments with drug conspiracy and continuing criminal enterprise offenses.1
Murphy was joined in the announcement by Daniel D. Roberts, FBI Special Agent in Charge.
The indictments charge that various members and associates of the Highwaymen Outlaw Motorcycle Organization conspired to distribute a variety of controlled substances in and around the Detroit area, from 2005 through the present. These substances included cocaine, marijuana, and ecstacy.

David Davis, the shadow home secretary, says that Britain risks social and religious divisions so profound that society's very foundations, such as the freedom of speech, will become "corroded" and that the perfect conditions for home-grown terrorism will be created.
His stark intervention, in an article for The Sunday Telegraph, represents a toughening of the Tory stance on the dangers of Islamic radicalism and follows calls from some leading ministers for Muslim women to remove their veils. It is also a departure from the "caring Conservatism" message laid out by David Cameron.
Mr Davis says he supports the stance on veils adopted by Jack Straw, the Commons Leader, but believes the wider issue is one of the "very unity of our nation".

KARACHI - A plot to stage a coup against Pakistan's President General Pervez Musharraf soon after his recent return from the US has been uncovered, resulting in the arrest of more than 40 people.
Most of those arrested are middle-ranking Pakistani Air Force officers, while civilian arrests include a son of a serving brigadier in the army. All of those arrested are Islamists, contacts in Rawalpindi, where the military is based, divulged to Asia Times Online.
The conspiracy was discovered through the naivety of an air force > officer who this month used a cell phone to activate a high-tech rocket aimed at the president's residence in Rawalpindi. The rocket was recovered, and its activating mechanism revealed the officer's telephone number. His arrest led to the other arrests.
Other rockets were then recovered from various high security zones, including the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad.

Mosul, Iraq (AINA) -- On Monday, October 9, a prominent Assyrian (also known as Chaldean and Syriac) priest, Fr. Paulos Iskander (Paul Alexander), was kidnapped by an unknown Islamic group. His ransom was posted at either $250,000 or $350,000. This group had demanded that signs be posted once again on his church apologizing for the Pope's remarks as a condition for negotiations to begin.
Father Alexander was beheaded on Wednesday.
An email from a priest in Sweden, Adris Hanna, describes the Muslim terror campaign against the Christians in Iraq:
The Syriac-Orhtodox priest Paulos Iskandar was kidnapped this Monday, October 9, and beheaded today Wednesday October 11.
The Bishop in Mosul wrote me an email tonight and told me that the funeral will be held in Mosul tomorrow.
Christians are living a terrified life in Mosul and Baghdad. Several priests have been kidnapped, girls are being raped and murdered and a couple of days ago a fourteen year old boy was crucified in the Christian neighborhood Albasra.
I have also spoken to a group of nuns that were robbed and treated brutally on their way between Baghdad to Amman in Jordan.
The murder of father Paulus is the final blow for Christians, and now only hell is expected for the Christians of Iraq.
We the oriental Christians in Sweden and the rest of the Western world must protest against the genocide. We must do what we can to stop the rape, threats, hatred, robberies, murders… We must do something.
These latest murders continue an escalating pattern (1, 2, 3) of attacks against Iraq's Christians. On October fourth a bomb ripped through an Assyrian neighorhood, killing 9

This makes me want to vomit.
We've been documenting this type of activity for a very long time RR.
What can ordinary people like us do?
I regularly post to TM.
I do believe that knowledge is power.
Others may wish to taken some of these articles (with urls attached) and post them in their church bulletins.
Others may give lectures at their college/university campus groups explaining what the Global Jihad is doing.
All of us can pray.
I think it happened in Midland, Texas.
