President Bush is aggressively taking on his Iraq war critics as he prepares to travel to Northern California next week.
On Friday he accused opponents of advancing an argument that "buys into the enemy's propaganda.'' The day before, the president accused Democrats of being the party of "cut and run.'' Earlier in the week, Bush said he considered it "naive'' to believe that going to war was a mistake.
Bush arrives in Stockton in advance of a Tuesday morning fundraiser for Rep. Richard Pombo, R-Tracy, the chairman of the House Resources Committee. The president then travels north to El Dorado County to raise money for Rep. John Doolittle, R-Rocklin.
"He's very popular in my district. They support Bush. They want to fight the war on terror and win the war on terror,'' Doolittle said.

Vote, as if your life depended on it, because it does.
The enemy gets their talking points and propaganda from the dims.... not to hard to figure out...
The Sunnis and Shiites dont support us in Iraq.
The only ally we have there are the Kurds.
Bush should change the policy and go for a Kurdish state with Kirkuk as the Capital.
Whatever..
Doolittle, not the best name for a Congressman these days.
Have to take the run and hide crowd on....BIG TIME.
I disagree. The less Congress does the better. Unless they want to cut spending, eliminate agencies, and stooopid laws.
and let the south become taliban central? GREAT IDEA, why didnt Dick Durbin think of that already? Oh, he did.
show support by turning out and voting for Republicans,
This needs to be repeated regularly to a significant number of folks here.
Conservatives don't win when we beat ourselves and don't show up or vote for fringe candidates.
Bill Clinton 1992.
the Sunni leaders just declared a pack to go after the terrorists -sounds good to me - but then, you must've spent some time over there to be so knowledgeable...I haven't
LOL
Good catch! No judge would refuse him a name change for understandable reasons
It's about time! Clintoon and Carter have attacked the Presidency and that is without precidence. Time for Bush to set presidence. Looks like they have had a "BIG" conference in the White House etc. The vote on funding the Border Fence, where Kennedy abstained. and Martinez (father of S 2261) voting "for", shows other deals have been made too - we will be screwed on the Border yet!
Clintoon and carter can't even say,"Islamofascism," let alone fight it. And the greatest strength the Ptresident has is the historical fact of fgascism as a world movement in the 1920s and 1930s, and then, the world stood and watched in horror.BIG MISTAKE.
We are fighting the bastids, and you know what? Not a single intelligent human being who loves freedom cannot possibly confuse Islamofascists and their planned World Caliphate with freedom fighters. Joseph Kennedy and aviator were later forced into liberal ignominy because they made that mistake in 1934. Bush is true to our forefathers and the principles of our nation, while Theodore Roosevelt, that quintessential liberal socialist, had to be convinced by Winston Churchill, as Europe burned.
Bush doesn't need convincing, he knows the truth when he sees it, and so Clintoon and Carter can kiss their Caliphate asses goodbye by continuing to attack our president. The momentum of history is against these little fleas. The elephant walks on.
President Bush will go down in history as a protector of our nation and its freedoms for which so many of us have paid so dearly. And it is the greatest gift one nation can give to another. He must stay the course.
Clinton and Carter are wrong in thinking our enemy can be pacified, and President Bush is wrong by underestimating the size of our enemy and the full breadth of the war. The poisonous, plagiaristic work that became the Koran is bad enough in itself, but the added influence of Hitler's Mein Kampf is the most vial of intellectual cocktails, and the entire Islamic nation has swallowed it.
"The book's wide availability and popularity ought to be a matter of serious concern," said a German Embassy official who requested anonymity.
Agreed , my good man!
