Oct. 1, 2006 A Republican staff member warned Congressional pages five years ago to "watch out" for Congressman Mark Foley, according to a former page.
Matthew Loraditch, a page in the 2001-2002 class, told ABC News he and other pages were warned about Foley by a supervisor.
Loraditch, the president of the Page Alumni Association, said the pages were told "don't get too wrapped up in him being too nice to you and all that kind of stuff."
Staff members at the House clerk's office did not return phone calls seeking comment. Some of the sexually explicit instant messages that led to Foley's abrupt resignation Friday were sent to pages in Loraditch's class.

Now the LIARS at ABC News are trying to smear all Republicans with information they held on to for months because they are so concerned about the welfare of pages.
Also, if this was such a well known rumor, guess who else knew about it. Democrats.

Bush's fault.
Of course if the page was told in 2001 (interesting how that date pops up) then it was going on long before that presidential term.

Or Barny Frank? The Rats protest too much. If Foley had been a Dem. they would be lauding his diversity.
Maybe finally someone will do something about tossing out the perverts in Congress, but that would wipe out half of the Democrat representation.

but that would wipe out half of the Democrat representation.Unfortunately, it looks as if it would wipe out a higher percentage of the Republican reps than I would have guessed.

Someone said on another thread if Foley had just changed parties this would have been a non story. That is probably true. The Republicans are much better of to be rid of him, and so is the entire congress.
Now the old gay pride stuff can resume and all of the pols can march in their parades..

I would guess the Dems did not want to air their own dirty laundry because this would have been to hot to keep for themselves....This perv should have been asked leave long before this.

Unless Foley molested one of these young boys, the pedophiles in the Liberal MSM need to just give it a rest. This is a bogus issue that the DNC sexual deviants are trying to pimp. Foley is gone. The Commie 'RATS need to get over it and
MoveOn.org. Do the same thing they did when their boy Willie was boinking 21 year old interns. Even Hillary didn't care about that. DemocRATS are hypocrites.

"No one saw the extent of this," said a former aide who said he has been in contact with Foley's congressional staff members since the resignation and who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. "You do that kind of stuff in the shadows."

So now we know that the Republicans had two Gays in Congress. However, the problem here is not that Foley is gay but that he was 'molesting' a boy.
To: Uncle Slayton
he was 'molesting' a boyI haven't seen any information that Foley was 'molesting' anyone. Where did you get that?

If a 52 year old man was sending I.M's to my 15 year old grandson asking if he "made him horny" I would consider that molestation.

The left is only concerned about the welfare of pages. Not interns. I find it peculiar that all the pages knew about it, were warned, and didn't want to speak up for fear of retribution. They're speaking up now? What gives?
