The reality doesn't matter to Woodward and his ilk of neo-journalism. For them it's all "coherent narrative" -- while to the sane and history remembering observer what they call "coherent narrative" is what is more aptly put as "cartoon narrative".

but that was a huge mistake on Card's part...never trust a rat!......

Interesting comment from Sean Hannity a few days ago...that he warned these guys not to trust Woodward. His instincts were right on in this case.

Good morning AV. I see a lot of of unwarranted concerns and worries among many freepers about the Woodwork book. It is a damn book full of lies and distortions and it is not going to impact this elections at all. Elections do not get impacted by one book or hundred of books or anyother book. In 2004 there were dozens of anti-Bush books and these books together with their authors were paraded 24/7 by liberals and their media, President Bush and the Republicans won the elections BIG TIME.

WABC radio has been reporting this story as Foley having sent raunchy messages........rarely mentioning that Foley is a male and the recipient of the messages is also male.

Can't go there, no way!

They wouldn't want to do anything that would cast gays in a bad light now, would they?

"Andrew Card is scheduled to be on MNSBC this morning at 11:30."

Andy denied what BS Woodward wrote in his book:

Andy Card Denies Woodward Account to NewsMax
NewsMax ^ | September 30, 2006 | Ronald Kessler

Posted on 09/30/2006 9:09:30 PM PDT by bobsunshine

Former White House Chief of Staff Andrew H. "Andy” Card, Jr. has denied Bob Woodward’s claim that he and first lady Laura Bush tried to get Donald Rumsfeld fired as defense secretary.

Card told NewsMax’s chief Washington correspondent Ronald Kessler that the assertion in Woodward’s book "State of Denial" that he thought Rumsfeld should have been the one to leave the administration instead of himself was also "not true.” Card left as chief of staff in April.

According to an excerpt to be published in the Washington Post on Sunday, "State of Denial" says, "He [Card] was leaving. And the man most responsible for the postwar troubles, the one who should have gone, Rumsfeld, was staying.”

But Card told NewsMax, "I never felt that someone should have left ‘instead’ of me.”

Card said any implication that he was bitter about leaving was also "not true at all.”

Hi, Yaya. I saw that interview with the former page. You are exactly right about what he said. Foley contacted them AFTER they left the page program, with IM's, and no one in leadership had any way to know about those IM's.

It doesn't matter to them who stands in the way.

Right, Democrat or Republican, anyone in their way has to be destroyed in order for them to win.  Just ask Joe Lieberman as to Iraq and Scooter Libby, Tom DeLay, Bob Livingston, or Henry Hyde on personal destruction.

By the way, please send my appreciation to your brother for his service.  I hope he knows how many of us support him and all our soldiers there.  Most Americans are really proud of what they have accomplished and are still accomplishing.  As he and others are fighting terrorism overseas, we are fighting Democrat terrorist supporters here.

Newt was pursuing exactly this point, saying that if the leadership had done anything based on the initial reports (overly friendly email, not pornographic IMs) then the gay lobby would have blown up and killed the Republicans.

LOL. There was a dem operative on Fox earlier saying how terrible that our society has created an atmosphere in which activities like Foley's can go on. I really did LOL because it is the PC coddling of the gays so loved by the left that we find people reluctant to deal forthrightly with issues like this. Oh, and btw, I know that these young operatives have been counseled to wear nice jackets and a smile during these appearances but, if you are reading this, young operatives, there are times when you are discussing certain subjects that a more sober expression would be better than a vapid smile. Homosexual pedophelia being practiced by a congressman would be one of those time.

One can copy and paste to save IM messages, and if I'm not wrong I think the new Yahoo beta program will now archive them if it's set up that way.

good to have your confirmation.

It's obvious Democrats will ignore any information that clears the Republican leadership of trying to cover up the Foley mess.
