JMHO: He was VERY effective (and refreshing).
No seriously, no apology needed, it's just politics. Funny in a way. I wish there were a man running that I totally agreed with, but I do not agree with anyone but me 100 percent of the time.
I spend time reading all I can on all of them every time. Spend a lot of time researching and analyzing and in the end it all comes down to a gut feeling. :)
Nine o'clock bump!
Call-In
Defense Secretary Rumsfeld
C-SPAN, Washington Journal
Stephen Trimble , Jane's Defense Weekly
FNS looks interesting this morning...
I disagree. He is snarky and sometimes butt rude and insolent when he interviews people on our side of the political spectrum.
He'll make sure Woodward slams President Bush and Secretary's Rumsfeld and Rice.
Hey AB and family.
The laughing 9/11 bombers

Let's see, date on video January 2000... Bush's fault.
Hmmm, page BJ
US intelligence knew Bin Laden, already a wanted terrorist, used Tarnak as his base, and in spring 1998 the CIAs Counterterrorist Center began working on a plan to capture him at the compound, partly with the help of Afghan tribal fighters.
Hmmm:
Less than two years before the video was recorded, the CIA had a plan to work closely with some of the local tribes to grab Bin Laden as he slept. It was a clear-cut, well rehearsed 'perfect operation,' according to Michael Scheuer, who ran the CIA Bin Laden unit at the time. But it was never executed and there is still controversy in America about who cancelled it.*
That reminds me, in view of this... It would be nice if someone would put up The Hamburg Cell (on HBO tonight), to the video sites (never happen), since it concerns the two terrorists in the video.
Snip:
The Hamburg Cell] is really the story of two men - Ziad Jarrah, a Westernised Muslim who falls under the influence of terrorist mastermind Mohammed Atta, and Jarrah's absorption into fundamentalism, culminating in the events of September 11th 2001.
Now that Woodward 'should' be off the front page, let's move on to other news:

FNS
'nana suit and 'nana tie
Must be a 'nana morning on FNS
Good Morning everyone!
I was listening to FNC, too. I think Kirin was trying to 'defend' the GOP leadership, saying something to the effect of they were apparently told about a year ago that Foley was sending 'inappropriate' email and told him to knock it off and he said ok - they had assumed it had stopped, did not know about the IMs or the supposed sexual nature of the email.
Wonder why no one brings up Barney Frank and Gerry Studds (oh yeah, their Dims - never mind):
The Honorable Barney Frank kept his homosexuality in the closet until June 1987, and he told the House that the trouble he got into with prostitute Steve Gobie and its cover up were attempts to conceal his sexual preference.
Frank admitted that he had paid Steve Gobie for sex, had a brief sexual relationship with him, and then hired him as a personal assistant, paying for him out of Frank's own funds. Frank fired Gobie once he learned that Gobie was using Frank's apartment for prostitution.
Jeff Jacoby, Boston Globe reporter said: "Most pathetic of all was Frank's claim that he'd been 'victimized'--that he was a just a 'good liberal' who was 'trying to help' Gobie, but got 'suckered.'"

Gerry E. Studds
Democrat, Massachusetts (1973-1996)
The Honorable Gerry Studds, the first openly gay Member of Congress had an affair with a 17-year-old male Page in 1983. He never apologized and was censured by the House of Representatives.
Studds stayed in Congress, and was re-elected time and again by his constituents in Massachusetts.

Did Islamists learn from the Left how to fight a media war? (I refuse to call them 'liberal' when they are the opposite of the definition of that word.)
Leftist tactics mirror Islamist tactics in this way:
Words or actions that "threaten" the Left are called "hate" speech, and they demand that we stop/retract/apologize/etc.
Namecalling from them has to be acceptable to us as "free" speech.
They demonize any media outlet that does not 100% carry their message as a "tool" of the right wing, expecting that their bullying accusations will cause more denial and self-censorship from the Right.
One of the most effective responses to these bullies is laughter - right in their faces. Example: Ann Coulter.
Instead, so many pundits cower and beg the spokesmen of the Left to be reasonable: Oh, please Mr Carville, Fox is fair and balanced, and you know it!
We have to face the fact that Leftists do not operate from Reason. They operate from Emotion. Conservatives deal in thoughts and words, hence the success of talk radio.
Leftists deal in feelings, hence the attraction of Hollywood as a method for their expression.
Every time we let them control the message we give away a bit of ground, aka our freedom. They do not value freedom as much as they value control.
LOL -- oh darn -- I was just about to search for the best apologies from last week.
Gingrich is cutting through the spin regarding the emails.
Harmon thinks the democrat leadership should have been told.
Yuk! This election cycle is getting worse by the minute.
"Nine o'clock bump!"
It's 8:00 here, but love to watch the Sunday morning thread. Then I know which show will be the best...lol
I absolutely agree with that. In fact, some of the statements that come out of their mouths are so ridiculous I can't believe people do not laugh out loud.
Quote of the day from Gingrich: "We need to start playing a solution game."
"Gingrich is cutting through the spin regarding the emails.
Harmon thinks the democrat leadership should have been told.
Yuk! This election cycle is getting worse by the minute"
I knew it! (don't get it for another hour here)
Thanks AB!!
Poor Timmy is being patronized by Musharef.
Is Timmy having a speech problem? Its like he sputters. I never noticed that before. This guy has an enormous ego that he just can't see how dumb he is.
LOL. Spot on comments about Mr. Potato Head.
"Has anyone asked Barney Frank to comment on the Foley matter?"
Republican Foley writes sexually explicit e-mails to a minor. He resigns and Republican voters are furious.
Democrat Barney Frank is involved in a gay prostitution ring. Democrat voters keep re-electing him. Should the Dems take the House in November, Frank will have a key committee chairmanship.
